The President of the United States is doing a better job than anyone else in the world.

Not really in fact. Adults in the world (including Putin, XI, Modi) are holding things together while the children (the West, with Trump the best of the West) behave very badly.

"The President of the United States is doing a better job than anyone else in the world."

I absolutely disagree with that statement. Trump is as big a fool as Biden...he just presents a little better. His actions are, in many cases, unconstitutional and idiotic. However, I believe he is titular and does as he is told on significant issues.

This from someone who thinks his vote means something!

Instead of an ad hominem attack, how about a substantive reply, or are you too stupid?

His was at least based on your fully displayed TDS stupidity.

I voted for DT primarily in hopes that he could end the idiotic war in the Ukraine. It is the existential issue of the day. When I told my very astute and historically-knowlegable friend this, he said "With the Military, Trump will do as he's told." I didn't want to hear that because in the current political landscape, there was no one else to look to for a solution. As with Covid, when the "experts" in white lab coats arrived Trump just followed along.

Trump is a money guy. That's all that counts. Whoever coughs up the cash gets the front seat. Satanyahoo is such an example. Hell, Trump not only sold his soul to this piece of s..t but the United States as a whole.

It is even scarier, because they are 'playing' with nuclear. I remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki with using atom bombs...nuclear is over 100 times worse....and male leaders are like children playing with soldiers. They seem to have no conception of the end results of using nuclear. They also have no concept that there will be no safe place...the entire world could go.

Trumps foreign policy as of late has been a effed up mess. He is falling away from his previous stances an "no more new wars", Hopefully thought the loud cries of the populace, he will get back on the right course. The deep state blob, MIC, etc are very strong oppositional forces.

"The deep state blob, MIC, etc are very strong oppositional forces."

Indeed, they are. Trump is titular as all presidents have been to an increasing degree, since November 22nd, 1963. Trump will do as he is told on significant issues, and nothing will improve.

John, your quiet/gentle but determined advocacy for humbleness in the face of man's monstrance ego now evident in Trump, no less evident in his blind eye to what Israel is doing, and has done, to the Palestinians, and now Gaza, provoking war, and then obliterating her rivals in mass killing for decades, for expansion. For such evil there is always a price to pay.

“Trump has turned a blind to what Israel is doing?” No he isn’t. Trump fights jihadists and criminals just like Israel does.

For expansion? It’s all Israeli land! On Oct 7, 2023, Hamas brutally killed 1200 Israelis and captured 250 others. Jihadists have never been interested in peace with Israel! Surrender and return the hostages -> then the war is over. If not, the war will go on until Hamas is destroyed in Gaza and every other place in the world!

You might ask yourself - why doesn’t any of the Arab world absorb these Arabs living in Gaza (just as Israel did with the nearly 800K Jews who were forced out of Arab countries throughout the Middle East?)

The HIGHLY TOXIC (FAKE) 'foods'.

And then we have our (NON) 'education system'.

Which indoctrinates one on WHAT to BELIEVE.....rather than HOW to THINK.

Of course, there are MANY more.

Excellent article, thanks.

"American institutions have been unraveling for some time, and an alarmingly large number of Americans—especially those who infest the mainstream media—have been acting like scalded chimps with zero critical reasoning faculty."

Excellent observation.

"An extremely unfortunate feature of the human race is that many of its most intelligent members are incapable of resisting our most destructive instincts. A notable example of this was the extraordinary genius, John von Neumann, who may have been the most intelligent man who has ever lived."

While intelligence is an essential human trait, there are others with high desirability, such as wisdom, integrity, and empathy.
