I agree with this great article. But most of my senior citizens friends don't read the information that I forward to them. It concerns me greatly that too many Americans cannot smell the coffee. Thank you so much for your emails, most of them I save in a folder. God Bless all of you. Ms. Poinsetta

YEP, same here. I just stopped sending them and, like you, file them for my reference only.

We here are a very small minority, important to each other though. Daily I am graced with authors like John ,and moreso, by the many learned responses.

My mom is the only one who will read articles I send. I gave up trying to email links to friends. It gets frustrating when you try to educate people on "why we don't have nice things" and so many of them reply with Democrat or Republican dogma. Few people understand the vast embezzlement of American wealth by the elite.

I agree completely with George Washington's letter to the people; a great man.

Thank you for bringing this forward John, EXCELLENT.

Love the history you bring to us daily...America benefited greatly from France intervening in our "remote" quarrel with Great Britain. We are forever grateful to her for helping us, thereby establishing the greatest nation on God's green earth. The lines are not always defined. In general, I agree with our beloved General George Washington and Father of this nation.

We should be grateful for France's helping the colonies in their fight for independence, but bear in mind the King of France was acting in what he perceived to be his own kingdom's interests.

I believe an addendum would be that, as the money flows and enriches that rarified less-than-1%, power becomes more concentrated. The financial outcomes have become a shell-like game. As money pours into one sector, whether or not pharmaceuticals, drone or AI technology, etc, those people reap extraordinary windfalls of money. They, then, take that money proceeding onto the next bubble where they reap another windfall. This is why (1) wealth has become so concentrated in so few hands in a short decade and (2) why certain agenda items, ill favored by the majority of Americans, are constantly pursued by the ilk like Bill Gates who keeps pushing artificial food and dangerous pharmaceutical practices. Moreover, as these individuals accumulate extraordinary wealth, they fall under the delusion that they're superior, more talented, and mentally sharper than other people and, thereby, create an ill-conceived rationale for their dictating world events and human course of events. The very real fact is that they become morally stagnant and willing to execute any action to retain power and control. This addiction becomes a mental aberration. Look at our Congress representatives so old that they attend sessions in wheelchairs and become cognitively disabled rambling absurdities.

P.S. Not all senior citizens are alike. I'm in my late 70s and believe I smell the coffee quite strongly. Perhaps because I don't and won't take any pharmaceuticals. I don't consider myself part of "the system"--whether or not that be medical; social; political; or anything other.

I always wondered where that phrase “passionate attachment” (to Israel) came from. Now I know. Thanks for that!

Let Justice be our guide. Do the right thing. It's a simple concept but bad people will continue to do unjust things and they will team up like Cromagnon teamed up against the Neanderthal. How can we prevent that from happening again?
