I know what it feels like to have a member of a family shot...My father was shot by a hold-up man in 1952...and the bullet missed his heart by a fraction of an inch. The doctor gave up on him, but my mother, grandmother and I prayed all night long...and he lived another 38 years. I do believe in the power of prayer...and had hoped that the prayers of many people would keep him here. It is very disturbing and sad that someone who has done so much good...has been shot by an irrational lunatic.

A line is forming between people (states) that you either support collectivism or individualism. It’s not much different than when states had to come down on one side of the slavery issue or the other. It feels like it is becoming the hill people are willing to die on.

Pro Vaccines, non traditional family values, etc = collectivism.

Body autonomy, parental rights, etc = individualism
