Genes can only do one thing, be a protein-template. Since just about every endogenous molecule in the body is a protein, general genomic instability can cause countless problems. In this case it was found in a specific region, so will definitely effect any genes in that region. Perhaps also peripheral genes.
But likely it will integrate into different cells at different positions, so sucks to be jabbed.

Question: Is there any evidence, thus far, indicating the spike protein (without vaccination) is manipulating our DNA?
It is not the spike protein that is inserted into the DNA, though it may damage it through other means.
It is only genetic code that can be integrated, so if the rna-pathogen exists, and gets in a cell, it might also be integrated via infection.
In the end, the vast majority of mRNA-infected cells will be taken out, as would any cell expressing a foreign protein.
