i just knew, even before i got to the end of this absurd letter, that the authors were women. this is why girls shouldn't be in the armed forces. seriously, she's worried about "non-consensual" acts when the military blows people up? does the military get consent before they drop bombs on villages? before they level towns? is israel getting consent to reduce gaza to rubble? who gave the go ahead to blow up the nordstream pipeline? how can a photograph make a person feel unsafe? and if you are scared of a picture, then you should never have been in the military. i hope both these broads get fired.
Women do have places, and roles, appropriate in the military. Not all are, but we have served honorably and appropriately since the early 20th century. This "woke" gang of "snowflakes" is NOT our military at all!

it's true that many women have served honorably but from en evolutionary standpoint, women are protected and not put at risk because they bear the young. men are disposable but every woman is of utmost importance to the survival of the species. you have to wonder about a society that sends it's women into battle.
but you really have to wonder about a society that lets it's men wear dresses and pretend to be in the military!

It IS the military; the whole system has adopted this insane "rainbow mafia " agenda from the top down, regardless it's impact on "readiness". It has become so politicized it's lost track of its mission and purpose!
I did say " appropriate" roles; trenches and fox holes are not those places, although they have found women make better fighter pilots than men, in most instances, oddly enough. Women also make good mechanics, because they can get into tighter spaces more easily to work on complex machinery. They can also "free up" men from mudane duties that allows them to assume combat roles while women attend to the duties "behind the lines", so to speak. However, I fully agree women do not belong in combat units. The trans folks do not belong in the military at all, especially once they start the transition! If they want to serve they need to look up Vista or Peace Corps! They just burden the rest of the forces physically and psychologically! Most only join to get the expensive medical procedures paid for, to start, and taxpayers should NOT be on the hook for that!
The Navy got in a few during Iraq 1 and 2. I can't say if the Air Force did too, or not. However, "dog fights" have changed a good bit, even since Vietnam days. Women are better at "multitasking" a necessity caused by child rearing while housekeeping. They also fit those cockpits a lot better. That means the have more wiggle room inside that tiny space to react to changing combat conditions, and can keep up with their planes better while doing so. It actually works better when your elbows and knees don't keep fighting for maneuvering room. Actual "dog fights" are a thing of the past. Aerial combat is getting more like the old "battle wagon" days when ships stood 20 miles apart and lobbed shells at each other, with modern air to air missiles. Keep in mind that old adage: "The female is always deadlier!" Ask any 20 lb tom cat who just got whooped by a 6 lb queen, who was NOT "in the mood"! Or any lion, in a pride, who brings home the bacon in that family...
and, the girl in the photo is completely relaxed laying back into the sailors arms, hand loose by her side. There is NO resistance, but endearing compliance.
This letter is so ridiculous I was thinking, could this be some weird leap year joke? A quick search of this woman tells you all you need to know. All these government positions filled by mediocre or more often unqualified people is truly baffling
