It's not just the USA that has this inflation problem. Australia has it, too. Worst thing is, most workers struggle with the higher prices all around them, but don't bother asking their boss for a raise! Oh, and we're printing the most cash we have ever printed.

Things are looking super swell...

Honestly, if a devastating multi-year spike in inflation is the price that Americans and allied Western nations have to pay to finally let Bibi and the Trump administration complete the vision Moshe Feiglin laid out, then I say: fire up the money printers and pass the tariffs!

Sure, the average American's grocery bill is skyrocketing, thanks to a beautiful cocktail of POTUS Trump’s blanket import tariffs and a completely necessary war with Iran. But let’s be real—what is hyperinflation compared to the sublime joy of keeping Netanyahu comfortably in power? If the hardline philosemites stacked deep within the Trump administration have to let domestic price stability crash and burn to guarantee Bibi’s survival, it’s a sacrifice they are thrilled to make with the American consumer's wallet.

When Moshe Feiglin mused a weeknor so ago that wiping out the Palestinians would be "incredible," he was just saying the quiet part out loud for the real decision-makers in Washington and Jerusalem. Who cares if modern genomic mapping and population genetics repeatedly prove that Palestinians possess a continuous, un-displaced layer of indigenous Levantine DNA—literally making them the biological descendants of the ancient Israelites, Judeans, and Canaanites? Who cares if even David Ben-Gurion admitted the local "fellahin" were just ancient Jewish farmers who stuck around and eventually converted?

History and science are no match for great geopolitical theater. If the Trump administration has to trigger a massive domestic economic meltdown via supply chain shocks and war-driven oil spikes to facilitate a little light cleansing of a population with a deeper genetic claim to the Bible than most of the diaspora, so be it. No pain, no gain! Americans and other Westerners should be proud to empty their bank accounts at the checkout counter if it means funding Bibi's forever war and fulfilling Feiglin’s wildest dreams. It’s only a few years of financial ruin, guys. Worth it!

Love the satire ;-)

But seriously, keeping Bibi happy is at the bottom of my list!

Inflation in the USA is not as much an issue as it is in all other "developed" countries.

Robyn S's avatar

Having a much smaller economy, inflation affects us a lot. And we currently have the most incompetent government Australia has ever seen. On top of that, Australia has one of the highest levels of household debt in the world.

AwakeNotWoke's avatar

That is a really tough spot to be in, and those economic pressures are definitely hitting home hard right now.

I had heard that petrol and diesel prices had risen massively in Australia since the US launched its new forever war for Israel—and apparently, that is true, but the price rises are actually worse in the US. Even though both countries are getting hammered by the fallout from the conflict and the disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz, the raw pump prices in the States have jumped even more severely, especially for diesel. It's an incredibly stressful time to be balancing high household debt with global energy spikes.

Robyn S's avatar

Not a good time for most people, I think!

Perhaps the prices at the bowser have jumped more for the US because they were cheaper than AU to begin with. We have charming govts that like to tax the hell out of our fuel, and close down almost all our refineries as well. We now import almost all our fuel. It's ludicrous. The last time I remember our fuel being 'cheap' was when I was a kid!

I watch the food prices rise higher and higher each month. When a basic, small 3-pk of garlic sets you back AU$4.20, you know times are tough for people! Groceries seem to jump 10% every few months from my observation. They're outpacing inflation by a long shot! Too bad they're necessities, eh?

House prices are also ridiculous. I honestly don't know how anyone affords one these days. Some people have nice parents willing to loan them a spare half mil. As for the others? Well, it's basically at the point that lots of people have to hope their parents drop dead soon and leave them an inheritance, or the chances of them ever becoming debt-free will just never happen.

Happy times....

And yes, diesel is heading up to AU$3/L (not that petrol prices are that much better). Rural Australia basically runs on diesel. In Oz, everyone likes to make the rural people suffer first. The city folk just get on with things, enjoying their public transport and other city conveniences, blissfully unaware of the plights of those who feed them and also provide all the country's energy and minerals!

It's not like country folk get all those amenities. Basically, if you don't have a vehicle in the country, you're stuffed. Although I'm sure that's probably true for most countries!

Funny thing is, even the studies show that most rural folk in Oz still drive just as much when fuel is expensive. They just pay more at the bowser and try to watch their finances elsewhere...or just ramp up the debt by refinancing the family home!

That statement is factually incorrect and completely reverses the macroeconomic reality. According to the latest data from the OECD and national statistical agencies (like Stats NZ, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, and Statistics Canada), the US has one of the highest and most stubborn inflation rates among advanced economies.

At 3.7%, US inflation actively outpaces Canada (3.1%) and sits dead even with New Zealand (3.7%). However, while New Zealand's inflation is on a downward trajectory (cooling from 4.1% last quarter), US inflation has re-accelerated upward from 3.4%. Even when compared to Australia (4.0%), the US is barely lower, despite Australia battling unique domestic housing and electricity spikes.

Furthermore, US inflation is currently sitting at the exact same level as when Biden left power. Far from being a non-issue compared to "all other" developed nations, high domestic demand and massive fiscal legacies have left the US with an inflation problem that is trending upward and proving far stickier than its peers.

Look at Greece and Venezuela. The rest of the west is set to be on track to have prescribed inflation and prescribed debt until some benevolent body steps in and rescues us from the very problem they created. This is painfully obvious. What can we do about that?

Trump has a Biden inflation problem, which will take 4 years to rectify not less than 2 years. Iran is a necessary step to getting there are as Tarriffs. We live in an instant gratification world a forget, it takes a while to move the needle on 700M people and get rid of 25M illegal aliens. We are more than on the right path, but damn, things take time to eradicate the things the 2 worst presidents -Obama and Biden did to stain and tear apart the very fabric of this country.

Randy's avatar

Oh, so the goalposts have moved. Now it’s 4 years to stop blaming Biden. How convenient. Of course, massive inflation has nothing to do with the Big Bloated Bill Trump’s Congress passed in his first year, based entirely on Biden’s Build Back Better monstrosity. And it certainly has nothing to do with Trump declaring a tariff war on the entire planet on April 2, 2025, or Trump killing the free passage of oil, gas, fertilizer, etc. through Hormuz. Oh, no, it’s totally Biden’s fault, say the lobotomized MAGAbots.

Once again the US will inflate its way out of crushing national debt.

The inflation has barely begun.

Jim Reagen's avatar

The US government has at least $21 trillion in unaccounted spending, according to Professor Mark Skidmore and Catherine Austin Fitts. What this means is that the printing presses have issued money that has added to the money supply and gone … where? In addition, FASAB rule 56 issued in 2018 allows accounting to be hidden or misleading for “national security” reasons.

All of this is blatantly unconstitutional and contributes to inflation.

The western countries are under attack and this is the plan to take them down!!! Look around and you will see too many foreigners from 3rd world countries feeding off the tax payer welfare system! That is the biggest issue here. Illegal immigration!!!

BMeowDawg's avatar

As you note, it destroys the middle class, makes more people dependent on government, and will therefore erode freedom. At some point control of money and government must be separated. As for Trump he exchanged one bad war for another; he’s corrupt and lost, destined to be reviled by all since he betrayed America.

And “gravity is fake” …claims the man jumping off a 10-story building during the 2.5 seconds it takes for him to hit the ground at 54 mph.

Not sure Trump has a clue or cares!

Many valuable observations John!

2008 was a test run to see if folks would accept government payout to lg Corp money launderers. Money flows out of tax payers to banksters back to pockets of government cronies and deficits keep climbing to unpayable.

Here we are!

Klaus S. Gets his financial reset to CBDC and we lose any autonomy!

A short term loss for a long term gain.

If everyone here would read

attorney Jeff Childer’s substack, COFFEE & COVID, you’d all fell better (and be far more wise to what’s going on and when and how it will be fixed) than you are reading only this.

If I could read Leake on medical matters only, and he’d slip the presidential commentary, I’d be delighted.

Until we dissolve the parasitic, fraudulently established, and NOT "federal" Reserve CENTRAL Banking system - this is a forever issue. Debt-based fiat currency that has no intrinsic value (the current central banking model) is the inherent cause of inflation, exacerbated by usury, interest rates, "economic policy," et al.

If you want to know what inflation has looked like since the National Inflation Rate was replaced with the fraudulent and grossly inaccurate and manipulated Consumer Price Index, go to either: ShadowStats.com ($175/year) or The Chapwood Index (chapwoodindex.com; Free).

The core pain behind what we can see, originates with US Congressional regression of the US Minimum Wage. UNCTAD completed a study on the US Minimum Wage in 02/2013. CFR member Bill Moyers threw the report at us as a bone on Moyers & Co (NPR) in an interview with author Henry Giroux. The US Minimum Wage (in 2013) would be $21/hour if the US Congress had just let it keep pace with inflation. I was so schocked I never forgot it.

Everything that has been done to us, has been done to every other first and second world country. Our CIA controls the major players in the drug trade are currently destabilizing South and Central America so badly. There is almost no global nightmare thread that we can pull, that doesn't lead back to the business conglomerate that calls itself "the CIA."

The Fed owns part of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) created in 1930 theoretically to manage German war reparations... but intended for far more. In 1994, the US "fed" Reserve Bank purchased shares in the BIS, and the theft from US federal budgets took off. Read Solari.com's 2018 reports: Follow the Missing Money Vol 1 & 2. Shortly after this report was published, the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) passed FASAB 56, which removed every major federal agency budget from public scrutiny under the guise of "classification." This was Fascism 101, because this massive accountability drop was engineered by a private organization, without anyone in congress objecting or doing anything to remove FASAB from existence. We the People are no longer able to audit any federal agency budget... which also means congressmembers can't either, unless they can get the security clearance to do so.

Lastly, from the 2023 Herland Report article: "Who Owns the Fed?"

The Rothschilds Families of Paris and London (the controllers; $400 – $500 Trillion immeasurable net worth)

The Israel Moses Seif Family of Rome (Vatican?)

The Lazard Family of Paris (control the European Union/European Central Bank)

The Warburg Family of Hamburg

The Kuhn Loebs of New York Family

The Goldman Sachs Family (Wall Street controllers)

The Rockefeller Family (Eugenicist architects of global de-population)

The Lehmans Family

Never forget, the parasitic "federal" Reserve CENTRAL Bank was created AFTER the United States was converted into a CORPORATION by the DC Organic Act of 1871 (all caps signifies a corporate entity in those days). In post-Civil War 1870, the USA was broke. So, they went to the Rothschilds in their City of London district looking for a bail out. Of the conditions imposed by the Rothschilds, was that the United States of America with it's capitol in The City of Washington, would become THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA with it's headquarters in The District of Columbia.

This is what the DC Organic Act of 1871 accomplished. You can read it for yourself in the first few paragraphs of the Act. The rest of the Act is intentionally very difficult to understand. It tries to describe (with plenty of obfuscation) how the newly established DC General Assembly, is going to run the country, at the same time the US Congress is sidelined, and becomes an overlay to fool the American people and hide the true organizational nature of the country.

With the passage of the Emergency Banking Relief Act of 1933 (also written by the "fed.") by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, every country doing business with the USA was required to "corporatize" as well. And the real kicker in 1933, was the finalization of the process begun after 1871, of converting Americans and their assets, to collateral for the USA, Inc.'s debts through the issuance of immoral "unilateral" contracts called Birth Certificates.

And on it goes. We are being traded on the NYSE. Our securitization records are on CUSIP.com under a fund established in a Trust form. Find a CUSIP.com member broker, pay the $200 and they will send you a .pdf of your record as a traded entity, like a pork belly future. And like the pigs, we don't get paid for the privilege of trading us like livestock. Ain't life grand in the good ole' US of A?

🚨🚨🚨🔥🔥🔥Well said:

Citizens who believe that political authorities have permitted or engineered the destruction of their savings will likely question the legitimacy of the institutions responsible for managing the currency. Populist movements will likely harness anger by promising decisive action against bankers, political elites, foreign interests, or alleged internal enemies. Economic desperation will likely make authoritarian solutions appear attractive to populations that might otherwise reject them.
