Women are never held accountable equally in the eyes of the law. No one would give a rat's ass why a man who did this crime's motives, and we all would support the maximum punishment. Was an OB/Gyn employed to check her progesterone or ratio of progesterone to estrogen or thyroid? Those trained in napro technology know that if these hormones are low/imbalanced, it can result in depression/anxiety/insomnia.

I now want to lock up the Docs who prescribed the drugs. If she had been taking the drugs when she went to the hospital with homicidal ideation then the hospital could be named as negligent for sending her home and the docs could be negligent for not getting the the bottom of the ideation. If she had ideation before drugs and the first drug made it worse then more drugs were certainly problematical. I also do not know if she was prescribed other therapies. This may be another colossal failure of our current psychiatric industry.

If that list is basically complete, then you have a towering hurdle to clear to get to "of sound and competent (i.e., legally responsible) mind".
