The "godless, imperial power" described by John the Revelator, is described both by John, and by Daniel, in the Bible (KJV).
As for "the beast"... Daniel stated, as explained to him by the angel sent to school him, that the terrible beast is the fourth kingdom on Earth. (Fourth Reich, 4th Industrial Revolution).
Comparing Daniel 7: with Revelation 13: is instructive. The "beast" is worshipped by those who also worship "the dragon", who is revealed in Rev. 12: to be, in fact, Satan, the "great red dragon, the old serpent, called the devil and Satan, that gave power unto the "beast". "They" worship the beast and Satan. "They" are ultimately judged, and tossed into the "lake of fire", with the "beast", and the "false prophet", (Rev. 19:20). Jesus returns to save us from total annihilation. "They" do not have their names written in the Lambs book of life... Rev. 20:15. "They" include "pharma", described in the Bible as "sorcerers", Grk "pharmakeia", who fail to repent for their sorceries, murders, and are judged accordingly for harming the saints. (The saints are all those who love the Lord, and do His commandments). We are the targets for destruction by pharma, global warming frauds, pandemic creators, and eugenicists. The hate God, and worship Satan.
We are witnessing the run up to the end of the world, as we know it, and Jesus' return is pending.
It is called "The Day of the Lord". 2 Peter 3: (KJV) IS MANDATORY READING for any who want to know "why do Christians ask me if I'm saved... Saved from what?"
When Jesus comes back, it is to judge the Earth with fire. Jesus is sent to destroy those who have failed to embrace the truth, bind Satan, and burn "the beast" and his minions, and usher in the "Millennium", referred to at Rev. 20:, where also is described the eternal advantage of never having "taken the mark of the beast", or "worshipping the beast".

You properly bring up Daniel’s prophesies, David. It is just one of the many reasons that the Bible should be read and studied in its entirety. Christ and prophecies about Him and the End Times are found throughout the entire Bible, not just in the New Testament. After all, Christ was present as our Creator. He is eternal.
The term "last days" is not about the final days of the planet earth, but rather the final days of the old covenant order. "WE" are not in the "last days" or "end times" here in 2026. {EVEN THOUGH there are "bad" things happening}
JESUS is not "coming back" to destroy evil and set up a throne on planet earth - that's a false teaching - and how can I say that ?? SIMPLE - because JESUS' throne in in HEAVEN seated at the right hand of GOD. JESUS is already HERE via the HOLY SPIRIT. This is why a correct understanding of the TRINITY is paramount. The thing about scholars is that sometimes they're more interested in making their own 'revelations' or 'findings' that us dummies would never figure out! All jokes aside, Jesus gave the apostles the holy spirit and said that they don't have to worry about what to say. The Lord caused people to not understand each other, and also able to understand each other's tongues at different times...John isn't giving us revelation, he being used to deliver the Lords message! I wouldn't assign people "first languages" or compare writting styles when talking about God's message. The words are coming from the Lord. Cheers
The bible is a reference for millions, to correctly assign writing to the right people, or understand the origin of the writing, I find is a valid point. Writing so important should be scrutinized and correctly attributed. The bible should be scrutinized as over the centuries, it has been translated and retranslated and as a person who speaks 4 languages, I know exactly how much is "lost in translation"; this is just a side point. Thank you for recognizing that the writing varies and may be a different author.
Also in you own interpretation -read Biblical scholars in addition to the Bible as a primary source that refers back to what has been studied over centuries. We can’t make up our own conclusions just because we might do so. We must have the virtue of humility to study indefinitely and have wisdom to seek the Truth. Verse 1, chapter 1 of the Book of Revelation gives the clue of Who wrote the book. John was merely the scribe who wrote down the revelation as dictated to him. If you can believe that. Might account for the stylistic difference with the Book of John.
Immaculata: Murray meant that John merely wrote what he was told to write. The first verses in chapter 1 of revelation explain that Jesus was dictating, and told John "to write what he heard".
I think you misunderstood MURRAY in that you thought Murray was saying John was a scribe. That is is NOT what Murray was saying.
The job description of a SCRIBE back then, was to either copy what had already been written, or to write down what was dictated to them.
Second point: when revelation was written, there was no new testament. There was only the old testament available. It was also written in code because all of the apostles had been threatened with death (and all had been killed except John). It was Jesus's intent that John should not be burned or crucified. He was the only apostle that was spared a violent death. They tried to boil him an oil and it did not work, they tried other methods to kill him, and those did not work either.
If you read the last sentence in revelation, it says anyone who changes one jot or one tiddle of this book will be severely punished.
Being "saved" means being saved from hell, (which is waiting for every single person who has ever been on the Earth)-----unless they repent, are baptized and receive the Holy Spirit. In that case, their name is written in the "lambs book of life."

Nah. Many point out it is not. One can easily see the OT style of Revelation versus the mystical style of the Gospel of John from which you quote the Prologue. The Apostle John was fully immersed in Idealism, creation was the mind of God, while the writer of Revelation was all into OT tribal warfare.

The Bible says there is such a thing as spiritual blindness, and it is manifest in men with great natural intellect, who, in their pride see themselves as great and capable leaders of the “less fortunate”.
The Pharisee was one such, who, we are told, prayed “I thank Thee God that I am not like other men, fasting etc,”
Where he then lists all his superior powers and actions.
But Jesus, in telling of this man, found him wanting, and pointed toward the publican who prayed simply, and sincerely: “God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
No one sees themselves in Gods true light until Gods Spirit opens their eyes to their true self, and humbles them into the dust, as He had done to the publican.
Or as Jesus put it in another place: “only the sick need a physician.”

It is all of grace, all of mercy in Christ Jesus, but none of us see it until His Spirit opens our blind eyes, and he often uses, in part, the wickedness of this world to do so, or more accurately perhaps, to cause us to search beyond the superficial explanations of the world, the flesh and the devil.
You’re right, Jacob. There is a spiritual depth that comes from fellowshipping in the sufferings of Christ as well as being sustained by the love of Christ. I had both even as a child.
I grew up in two diametrically opposed worlds. I always knew I’d received a lot of unconditional love and I also knew I was lost and no one could save me. No one could undo what had been done. You can’t unsee what you’ve seen. You can’t turn the clock back. What was done was done and I just had to keep hanging on.
I knew that in my spirit. I had no concrete knowledge of it. All the concrete memories were suppressed or I would have died of a broken heart.
No one could save me but Jesus. And that is the story. How Jesus saved me in every way a person can be saved. How He held onto me when I couldn’t hold onto Him. How He was always with me and never left me.
We plumbed the depths of the sovereignty of God to the point that l let the free will of man slip through my fingers until it hit me in the face. It’s been quite a journey with Jesus.
I was in a painful place once - there were a lot of those places - and a friend was praying for me. She told me she’d said to the Lord, “But she’s trusted You with her heart, Lord,” and He replied to her, “And I have trusted her with Mine.”
That’s true. My minister once said, how many people really want to know the heart of God. There is a lot of pain in the heart of God. There is also a lot of love.

True Christian fellowship can be very helpful, if as Bunyan put it in Pilgrims Progress it is managed well.
Your short account made me think of the promise that He gave us that He causes all things to work together for good to them that love Him, to them that are the called according to His purpose.
But unlike some, for you that promise is more than mere words, it truth worked out in the most difficult of circumstances and trials of faith, and because of that all His other promises are more solid and founded on the rock.

I had to smile when I read the verse you shared about all things working together for good. I had actually thought about adding that to the other response but decided not to. What I really loved about the way you quoted it was the “the”. It’s been my experience that very few people quote it that way: “the called.” They say “those who are called according to His purpose.” The Lord untwisted that scripture for me at some point with the “the,” but that’s a longer story.
I was going to share that scripture because that was a core belief long before I knew it was in the Bible and long before I was walking in a close personal relationship with Jesus. I fundamentally believed that good could come out of anything. I held on to that - “surely good can come out of this,” I would say. I kept looking for it. It kept me hanging on as a child/young adult and later after coming back to Jesus, when things became excruciatingly painful, it kept me going.
Yes, I’d love to share with you and hear your story. I’m an open book. And yes, there is a book that will be written. The Lord just hasn’t given it to me yet.
I stood before all the writings I have - thousands of pages, journals, emails to people, poems, songs and I said, what is all this, Lord? I was specifically asking about the writings. And He said, “It’s research.” Fair enough.
I also met the Lord at the point of a pen, so if the writings all get thrown away, they served their purpose at the time to bring revelation (to me), truth and healing. The Lord put order to the chaos and laid straight the path. The path to where? As it turned out, though I didn’t know it at the time, it was the path into the heart of God.

I probably toyed with sharing it during Covid since they kept deleting my comments on YouTube. I’d done a lot of medical research to reverse autoimmunity and also to support the immune system. I also had to dive into the vaccine since I’d already had Covid when it came out and I was still trying to clear spike. So I had a lot of helpful information. Knew doctors who were hard to find after they started the censorship.

I should have responded nearly a week ago when I first read your beautiful reply and prayer. Your words touched my heart immediately and I sensed a spiritual depth in them that I think is quite rare now, and so refreshing.
Please forgive me for not responding sooner but I suppose I was afraid of being rash, that, and it has been a very busy 4 days or so here with an “historic” snow storm lasting 3 days.
Ephesians 6:11–18 informs us as to what we are up against (verse 12), that being the supernatural powers of wickedness of which Satan is the leader; but also the only means of defense against him and his demonic hosts. Unfortunately, most so-called christian teaching in this apostate age neither takes seriously this passage (or the many others that support it) or on the other hand distort and twist it out of all true meaning.
Here is what the apostle Paul had to say to the Ephesians about Satan and his minions:
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Swedish linguist and Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Gothenburg, wrote A Statistical Method for Determining Authorship in 1962, which he later applied to early Christian texts in order to try to situate them in a historical context and chronology.
Ellegård lists six texts that he believes were produced by Christian communities in the first century in addition to the letters of Paul: the Pastor of Hermas, the Didache, the First Letter of Clement, the Letter of Barnabas, the Letter to the Hebrews, and the Revelation of John. The major portion of the latter, he believes, was written right around the time of the destruction of Jerusalem, probably just prior to it, and was intended to give encouragement to the rebels to hold out for the coming of their messiah. Ellegård points out that, of course, these texts have been subjected to later editing and additions, but in general, on linguistic grounds, they can be situated earlier than the Gospels.
None of the early texts that Ellegård has identified ever use the term ‘Christian’; followers are always referred to as the Elect, the Saints, the Church of God – all terms that also happen to be found in the Qumran texts, the ‘Dead Sea Scrolls.’ Also, they have almost nothing to say about an earthly Jesus or his teaching or theology. Instead they focus on a death and resurrection, though none of them give an indication of this having occurred in a temporal context. None of them ever claim to have seen or heard an earthly Jesus, nor do they claim to know of anybody who ever did. It seems that their sources were ‘revelations’ that they had from interpreting passages from the Hebrew Scriptures and other literature, such as Enoch and various prophetic works. In contrast to Paul, who addressed mainly Gentiles, the other six documents listed by Ellegård apparently address a Jewish Diaspora audience. It is also worth noting that their arguments are consistently based on the Septuagint (LXX) version of the Hebrew Scriptures.
Among other clues, the points above lead Ellegård to argue that the early Christian communities began as Essene-type gatherings – ecclesia – all around the Empire, a conclusion also reached by Catholic scholars Étienne Nodet and Justin Taylor. That, of course, may connect them in some way to the Qumran community near the Dead Sea. We can get a good idea of how the Qumran sect people were thinking and acting based on their texts: it was all (more or less) about evicting and/or destroying the hated Romans and extracting messages from the scriptures by unusual exegetical methods called ‘Pesher.’
Alvar Ellegård’s idea of Essene-like communities scattered throughout the Empire seems to fit best when one considers the reference to Peter eating with Gentiles at Antioch. They may or may not have been messianists, though it appears that, at some point, radical followers of Judas the Galilean began to co-opt those groups and began promoting Judas as the militant messiah; while, at the same time, Paul came along and began promoting his messiah of love and reconciliation.

Jesus is the Messiah- the Son of God. We can not get too mixed up with random writings of philosophers and historians that have usually a bone to pick with The Truth. You completely misunderstand my intent here. Notice the last line. Yes, I believe in the creator, Intelligent Design by said creator, the life of the spirit, immortality of the soul. But I am also convinced, after 40 years of research, that Paul's Divine Son was co-opted by the Jews VERY early.

The image is superficial (top ~200–500 nm of fibers only), encodes 3D information, shows no pigments or dyes (per STURP microscopy, contra early McCrone pigment claims), and bloodstains test positive for hemoglobin/bilirubin. I would suggest that some sort of supernatural agency might have been involved in creating it, it just wasn't the 'good guys.'
You are correct on some of the data regarding the repairs. But the studies that were done later that were trying to refute the shroud of Turin were found to be incorrect. Willful deception. There is "imperial" Babylon, "commercial" Babylon as well as "ecclesiastical" Babylon. In Revelation 17:4 it says
"And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication". This is evocative of a despicable, luxurious and foul group of unnatural sexual practices. Proverbs had a lot to say about this woman with warnings.
In Rev. 18:4 it says: "4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." The real question is how believers can live righteously in the real world, not tainted by Babylon's corrupting influences. For many Christians there frankly is not much economic opportunity to do righteous work Biblically defined.

Gematria is an interesting subject. My very limited understanding is that Hebrew letters all have their numerical equivalent. And you can sum them to come to an understanding of any word or name. Their can be multiple ways to add letters/numbers - when they arrive at the same total they may be different representations of the same thing. In my Bible (1901 American standard revision circa 1901?) It references the name of the beast as 666 or 616. interesting since ancient Hebrew scholars did not use the symbol "6" they used the letter vau represented by a vertical or slightly slanted vertical line 1 or l is close. so "666" would have been expressed as "111" or "lll" and not necessarily 666, but also 6-6-6.
My own favorite translation is that lll is pretending to be W, or gross non-divine material pretending to be divine spirit. Or Vau vau vau pretending to be Shin (21st letter of the Hebrew alphabet with a value of 300) I have been told I am wrong and that 666 is the number of Caesar Nero – OK sure. Seems rather anticlimactic and petty – the bible is speaking of Nero as the nemesis of Rome and a beast. As opposed to the bible saying that the “beast” is evil made of gross material and cloaks itself in something that appears to most to be divine. The "godless, imperial power" described by John the Revelator, is described both by John, and by Daniel, in the Bible (KJV).
As for "the beast"... Daniel stated, as explained to him by the angel sent to school him, that the terrible beast is the fourth kingdom on Earth. (Fourth Reich, 4th Industrial Revolution).
Comparing Daniel 7: with Revelation 13: is instructive. The "beast" is worshipped by those who also worship "the dragon", who is revealed in Rev. 12: to be, in fact, Satan, the "great red dragon, the old serpent, called the devil and Satan, that gave power unto the "beast". "They" worship the beast and Satan. "They" are ultimately judged, and tossed into the "lake of fire", with the "beast", and the "false prophet", (Rev. 19:20). "They" include "pharma", described in the Bible as "sorcerers", Grk "pharmakeia", who fail to repent for their sorceries, murders, and are judged accordingly for harming the saints. JESUS is not "coming back" to destroy evil and set up a throne on planet earth - that's a false teaching - and how can I say that ?? The thing about scholars is that sometimes they're more interested in making their own 'revelations' or 'findings' that us dummies would never figure out! The Lord caused people to not understand each other, and also able to understand each other's tongues at different times...John isn't giving us revelation, he being used to deliver the Lords message! The bible is a reference for millions, to correctly assign writing to the right people, or understand the origin of the writing, I find is a valid point. Writing so important should be scrutinized and correctly attributed. The bible should be scrutinized as over the centuries, it has been translated and retranslated and as a person who speaks 4 languages, I know exactly how much is "lost in translation"; this is just a side point. Thank you for recognizing that the writing varies and may be a different author.
Also in you own interpretation -read Biblical scholars in addition to the Bible as a primary source that refers back to what has been studied over centuries. Verse 1, chapter 1 of the Book of Revelation gives the clue of Who wrote the book. John was merely the scribe who wrote down the revelation as dictated to him. If you can believe that. Might account for the stylistic difference with the Book of John.

Immaculata: Murray meant that John merely wrote what he was told to write. The first verses in chapter 1 of revelation explain that Jesus was dictating, and told John "to write what he heard".
I think you misunderstood MURRAY in that you thought Murray was saying John was a scribe. That is is NOT what Murray was saying.
The job description of a SCRIBE back then, was to either copy what had already been written, or to write down what was dictated to them.
Second point: when revelation was written, there was no new testament. There was only the old testament available. It was also written in code because all of the apostles had been threatened with death (and all had been killed except John). It was Jesus's intent that John should not be burned or crucified. He was the only apostle that was spared a violent death. They tried to boil him an oil and it did not work, they tried other methods to kill him, and those did not work either.
If you read the last sentence in revelation, it says anyone who changes one jot or one tiddle of this book will be severely punished.
Being "saved" means being saved from hell, (which is waiting for every single person who has ever been on the Earth)-----unless they repent, are baptized and receive the Holy Spirit. In that case, their name is written in the "lambs book of life."

Nah. Many point out it is not. One can easily see the OT style of Revelation versus the mystical style of the Gospel of John from which you quote the Prologue. The Apostle John was fully immersed in Idealism, creation was the mind of God, while the writer of Revelation was all into OT tribal warfare.

The Bible says there is such a thing as spiritual blindness, and it is manifest in men with great natural intellect, who, in their pride see themselves as great and capable leaders of the “less fortunate”.

You’re right, Jacob. There is a spiritual depth that comes from fellowshipping in the sufferings of Christ as well as being sustained by the love of Christ. I had both even as a child.
I grew up in two diametrically opposed worlds. I always knew I’d received a lot of unconditional love and I also knew I was lost and no one could save me. No one could undo what had been done. You can’t unsee what you’ve seen. You can’t turn the clock back. What was done was done and I just had to keep hanging on.
I knew that in my spirit. I had no concrete knowledge of it. All the concrete memories were suppressed or I would have died of a broken heart.
No one could save me but Jesus. And that is the story. How Jesus saved me in every way a person can be saved. How He held onto me when I couldn’t hold onto Him. How He was always with me and never left me.
We plumbed the depths of the sovereignty of God to the point that l let the free will of man slip through my fingers until it hit me in the face. It’s been quite a journey with Jesus.
I was in a painful place once - there were a lot of those places - and a friend was praying for me. She told me she’d said to the Lord, “But she’s trusted You with her heart, Lord,” and He replied to her, “And I have trusted her with Mine.”
That’s true. My minister once said, how many people really want to know the heart of God. There is a lot of pain in the heart of God. There is also a lot of love.

True Christian fellowship can be very helpful, if as Bunyan put it in Pilgrims Progress it is managed well.
Your short account made me think of the promise that He gave us that He causes all things to work together for good to them that love Him, to them that are the called according to His purpose.
But unlike some, for you that promise is more than mere words, it truth worked out in the most difficult of circumstances and trials of faith, and because of that all His other promises are more solid and founded on the rock.

I had to smile when I read the verse you shared about all things working together for good. I had actually thought about adding that to the other response but decided not to. What I really loved about the way you quoted it was the “the”. It’s been my experience that very few people quote it that way: “the called.” They say “those who are called according to His purpose.” The Lord untwisted that scripture for me at some point with the “the,” but that’s a longer story.
I was going to share that scripture because that was a core belief long before I knew it was in the Bible and long before I was walking in a close personal relationship with Jesus. I fundamentally believed that good could come out of anything. I held on to that - “surely good can come out of this,” I would say. I kept looking for it. It kept me hanging on as a child/young adult and later after coming back to Jesus, when things became excruciatingly painful, it kept me going.
Yes, I’d love to share with you and hear your story. I’m an open book. And yes, there is a book that will be written. The Lord just hasn’t given it to me yet.
I stood before all the writings I have - thousands of pages, journals, emails to people, poems, songs and I said, what is all this, Lord? I was specifically asking about the writings. And He said, “It’s research.” Fair enough.
I also met the Lord at the point of a pen, so if the writings all get thrown away, they served their purpose at the time to bring revelation (to me), truth and healing. The Lord put order to the chaos and laid straight the path. The path to where? As it turned out, though I didn’t know it at the time, it was the path into the heart of God.

I probably toyed with sharing it during Covid since they kept deleting my comments on YouTube. I’d done a lot of medical research to reverse autoimmunity and also to support the immune system. I also had to dive into the vaccine since I’d already had Covid when it came out and I was still trying to clear spike. So I had a lot of helpful information. Knew doctors who were hard to find after they started the censorship.

Ephesians 6:11–18 informs us as to what we are up against (verse 12), that being the supernatural powers of wickedness of which Satan is the leader; but also the only means of defense against him and his demonic hosts. Unfortunately, most so-called christian teaching in this apostate age neither takes seriously this passage (or the many others that support it) or on the other hand distort and twist it out of all true meaning.

Alvar Ellegård’s idea of Essene-like communities scattered throughout the Empire seems to fit best when one considers the reference to Peter eating with Gentiles at Antioch. They may or may not have been messianists, though it appears that, at some point, radical followers of Judas the Galilean began to co-opt those groups and began promoting Judas as the militant messiah; while, at the same time, Paul came along and began promoting his messiah of love and reconciliation.

You are correct on some of the data regarding the repairs. But the studies that were done later that were trying to refute the shroud of Turin were found to be incorrect. Willful deception. There is "imperial" Babylon, "commercial" Babylon as well as "ecclesiastical" Babylon. In Revelation 17:4 it says
"And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication". This is evocative of a despicable, luxurious and foul group of unnatural sexual practices. Proverbs had a lot to say about this woman with warnings.
In Rev. 18:4 it says: "4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." The real question is how believers can live righteously in the real world, not tainted by Babylon's corrupting influences. For many Christians there frankly is not much economic opportunity to do righteous work Biblically defined.

Gematria is an interesting subject. My very limited understanding is that Hebrew letters all have their numerical equivalent. And you can sum them to come to an understanding of any word or name. Their can be multiple ways to add letters/numbers - when they arrive at the same total they may be different representations of the same thing. In my Bible (1901 American standard revision circa 1901?) It references the name of the beast as 666 or 616. interesting since ancient Hebrew scholars did not use the symbol "6" they used the letter vau represented by a vertical or slightly slanted vertical line 1 or l is close. so "666" would have been expressed as "111" or "lll" and not necessarily 666, but also 6-6-6.
My own favorite translation is that lll is pretending to be W, or gross non-divine material pretending to be divine spirit. Or Vau vau vau pretending to be Shin (21st letter of the Hebrew alphabet with a value of 300) I have been told I am wrong and that 666 is the number of Caesar Nero – OK sure. Seems rather anticlimactic and petty – the bible is speaking of Nero as the nemesis of Rome and a beast. As opposed to the bible saying that the “beast” is evil made of gross material and cloaks itself in something that appears to most to be divine. If I understand gematria correctly (an that in itself could be too great a leap), both interpretations can be correct at the same time.
