Yet UNDER 18 you're allowed to make a life changing turn around to be a different gender. Your problem is between your ears NOT what's between your legs. You need a psychiatrist, NOT a surgeon.

Remember when we made fun of cultures that performed female genital mutilation? So, our "civilized" USA medical community did them one better: it chops off the breasts or testicles, injects hormones, and then, in the case of creating an artificial penis, "rolls its own" from other tissues of the body to create a "Franken-Penis" that is horrendous and seldom functions properly! Not to mention, creating a fake vagina in men that grows hair internally and needs constant dilation and hair removal. I had a friend who changed from female to male and then found herself disappointed in her new identity.
She was not accepted as a male by other men, (they could sense she was not like them) and was no more successful in her sexual encounters with women (She was a lesbian, and thought she would be able to date more women as a "man.").
She had unrealistic fantasies about what surgery could achieve for her. She faked suicide to force the doctors to operate on her (they were unwilling)
She ultimately tried to detransition - difficult when you have given yourself facial hair and a deep voice and cut off your breasts- not to mention the fake penis down below..
A broader look at costs and benefits of physical transition, as opposed to being driven by "medical feelings" is needed in this discussion. Shutting down outside criticism and questions comes with real costs.
Feelings are not a guide to cognition, exactly. "How did it make you feeel?" is a common question. Thinking is more important when it comes to decisions.
Nobody can change from female to male or male to female. It is not possible. Every cell except red blood cells has either XX or XY chromosomes except in extremely rare instances. It's delusional.
We need to use the term "sex" as in male or female biological sex again.
