Thank God! Finally some common sense is being implemented. I've long said that when the money starts disappearing from the performance of these horrendous experimental (genital in particular) surgeries, the medical-pharmaceutical industrial complex will begin backing off. After all, they're only in it for the money. I'm sure all these doctors are smart enough to know that you can "carve" a man into a woman (and vice versa). The money was the only reason they pushed this!

You must be 18 to get a driver's license, vote in an election, join the military, buy a firearm, get married, donate blood, work full time, buy and use tobacco, buy alcohol, open a bank account, have a credit card, change your name, get tattoos, file a lawsuit, create your will, purchase a house or vehicle, move out of your parents home, adopt someone, consent to sex.
Yet UNDER 18 you're allowed to make a life changing turn around to be a different gender. Your problem is between your ears NOT what's between your legs. You need a psychiatrist, NOT a surgeon.

Thanks Wild Flower. I didn't know I had a "fan club". I'm just an old guy who's always just used his common sense for every situation. I think most people inherently recognize B.S. when they are exposed to it. With all the craziness going on in the world I fear for children not born yet.

Remember when we made fun of cultures that performed female genital mutilation? So, our "civilized" USA medical community did them one better: it chops off the breasts or testicles, injects hormones, and then, in the case of creating an artificial penis, "rolls its own" from other tissues of the body to create a "Franken-Penis" that is horrendous and seldom functions properly! Not to mention, creating a fake vagina in men that grows hair internally and needs constant dilation and hair removal. This is not "affirming" medical care; this is monetized sick and demonic destruction of those made in the image of God.

I had a friend who changed from female to male and then found herself disappointed in her new identity.
She was not accepted as a male by other men, (they could sense she was not like them) and was no more successful in her sexual encounters with women (She was a lesbian, and thought she would be able to date more women as a "man.").
She had unrealistic fantasies about what surgery could achieve for her. She faked suicide to force the doctors to operate on her (they were unwilling)
She ultimately tried to detransition - difficult when you have given yourself facial hair and a deep voice and cut off your breasts- not to mention the fake penis down below..
A broader look at costs and benefits of physical transition, as opposed to being driven by "medical feelings" is needed in this discussion. Shutting down outside criticism and questions comes with real costs.

The long tradition of hubris in the US, which includes ignoring the lessons and resources offered by our cousins in Europe, continued on this front. US medical groups embraced medical transitioning--hormones and surgeries--while in Europe in the early 2020's, many European medical groups came to the conclusion that the risks of these procedures clearly outweighed benefits. They were paying attention.

Legal action against the doctors, Hospitals, NGOs and ALL organization who support these type of mutilations as well as those which occur within certain cultures.
Worth looking at the public health and medical state of the world from 2020 to present, and the stress and losses mainstream medicine (especially hospitals) incurred due to being forced to align with the narrative. That helps explain these desperate measures to make some money, but it doesn't look like any lessons were learned in the "money vs. morality" stage play of life.
