I do find it rather pretentious that anyone knows the mind of god however I have to giggle because there is no god of course, it's a myth that was deliberately injected into our psyche to keep us under control. Keen observation. However, a point of theology comes to the foreground, which we should discuss. Do we adhere to a theology in which we are puppets waiting on a puppet master to come save us? I do find it rather pretentious that anyone knows the mind of god however I have to giggle because there is no god of course, it's a myth that was deliberately injected into our psyche to keep us under control. We are magnificent beings and we are the source, each of us. I know that sounds facetious but we really do need to consider alternatives or at least ask why the heck this so called god never does anything and it's pretty late to the party. Why does he wait till it gets this bad? The answer is I say, because there is no god. And anyway why expect him to fix the mess we caused. Most people still use banks, still pay taxes and by doing this it funds the very evil we purport to detest. The evil is us, it's in our accepting degrading behaviors from the ones we know, the people in our very circles.

Just for soley educational purposes, I think you would find the preterist position of theology rather interesting. I feel compelled to question the logic of a god. For starters, nobody creates alone. Where is Mrs God? Why is the woman never mentioned? And all that stuff. It's like a children's story to me, and I can see through it. It was something written by men for men, not that men are objectionable, but why leave out the entire half of the population? It's all about men's adventures and men's perspectives. I'm sure we thrived before patriarchy, in fact I wouldn't mind betting that Tartaria was a culture that had no rulers and that treated males and females with respect without differentiation as to the ability to voice their perspective and indeed with curiosity about others. I want to return to that and now we are even more matured.
As to not seeing a god and therefore not able to prove it, well we don't see Santa Claus either so that logic doesn't really hold. And there are many things that exist that we cannot see such as the information that swirls around us which they name "the aether".

In John 13:35 JESUS told his disciples that the world will know they are HIS diciples because of their LOVE for one another. That fact one ventures out, and is roped back in and you can't really explain it, to me proves there is a GOD. And it proves GOD has not given up on me. When one's conscience is seared, and they go full into mayhem and craziness, then that's when one REALLY should be extra scared because even GOD has given up on the person. That is a bad place to be.The Biblical account makes a ton of sense explaining the world and the creation AND it explains why people do what they do. Like any book, it can be misquoted and misapplied.

Keen observation. However, a point of theology comes to the foreground, which we should discuss. Do we adhere to a theology in which we are puppets waiting on a puppet master to come save us? Or do we participate with our God in efforts to defeat Satan? Are we worthless Barbies and Kens waiting to be moved around, or are we Saints infused with Christ Consciousness? I think it matters how we see theology - the nature of God and the nature of our relationship with God.
