Indeed, Charlie was amazing to listen to. It seems like high school level popular people picked on Charlie’s opinions. In my opinion anybody who listened to his podcast heard his respect to all. His gift is unmeasurable.

Well and also because he was rejecting the Zionist position, turned down bibi's $, surrounded by snakes who wanted to turn turning point to their ends, financial and political. Spot On. Leake interviews Fuentes?

David Kukkee's avatar

Indeed, John Leake. The Bible teaches that the younger are to rise, acknowledge, and respect old men... And old men are advised to NOT exasperate the younger, set an example of grace and wisdom, and mentor them. The end result is a mutual respect, from which all benefit.

The further folks move away from God's design, the more entropy becomes evident. Jesus saves, and recommends all to turn to Him, for good. Unfortunately, due to the mass exodus from God's word, many old men running the world today cannot possibly be respected, and have failed to mentor young men in wisdom, perspective and manners, and made power and money their god.

The vanity of the world is foolishness in the eyes of God, and the bane of wisdom. Folks need to "turn their eyes upon Jesus, and look full in His wonderful face, and the things of Earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace." (Author: Helen Howarth Lemmel.)

This, from Google Overview AI:

"The author of the hymn "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" (with the lyric "Look full in his wonderful face...") is Helen Howarth Lemmel (1863-1961), an English-born musician and writer who composed the music and lyrics in 1922, inspired by a tract from missionary Lilias Trotter, notes Helen Howarth Lemmel, a musician who wrote "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus," was born in England in 1863 and died in 1961. She was a concert soloist, music teacher, and music critic. She wrote the words and music for the hymn in 1922. The hymn was inspired by a tract by Lilias Trotter, a missionary to Algeria."

It is clear that education matters... even more so, the type of education is critical. The current, secular system is failing everyone, miserably. America needs to return to our Creator for healing of the wounds inflicted by the venal and greedy God-hating "elite", as they call themselves.

Morgan is insufferable. Thanks for the alert. We agree about the poverty of style, debate, decorum, knowledge, wisdom and insight in modern media and academia in general. Perhaps our generation represents the lowest water mark of civilization the world has seen since prehistoric times and perhaps that is a function of inventing machines ( or perhaps they invented themselves) that think for us and lie for us.

Your comment is so well put. Indeed the gobby and cretinous Pierce Morgan is insufferable. Thank you, from uk. I believe Laura Huxley (back in the day) observed that ‘man’s idolatry of the machine’ would be the downfall of humanity.

BOTH of them are insufferable. Fuentes may have the ear of youth but he certainly isn't the answer. He deserves no credence, other than for incitement. He is an infant with a sharp but warped mind.

Both their tactics were made obvious and yes they both looked foolish.

However, Piers' gotcha tactics were even worse to watch. Thoughts?

Piers would have better served his audience by simply asking Nick to articulate his vision for American civilization and then probing his answers.

Mr. Leake,

You articulated EXCELLENTLY the struggle that my husband and I experience daily in striving to keep healthy lines of communication open and flourishing with our BRIGHT, CURIOUS, STRONG-WILLED, STRONGLY-OPINIONATED teenage son!

This feels TRAGICALLY true:

"Watching the interview made me lament all the more that Charlie Kirk was murdered. He struck me as his generation’s best hope for articulating a mature vision of what would be best for American civilization at this perilous moment in its history. Other young conservative voices in the public forum strike me as lacking his maturity, depth, and restraint."

The assassination of Charlie Kirk has deprived us of a future leader. The destiny of a nation, perhaps the world, changed when his voice was silenced.

Which is why, I believe, that we have to understand his assassination in spiritual warfare terms. There are those forces keen on disturbing and directing destinies of the world. They are regularly at work silencing voices that could lift us up out of matrix enslavement.

John,

A good explanation for why current generations do not know how to think straight is "Explaining Postmodernism," by Stephen Hicks. If you haven't already, I am certain that you would get a kick out of reading that book, due to the skillful blend of history, art, culture, and philosophy. Another work that is even more analytical, is "The DIM Hypothesis," by Leonard Peikoff.

Either work explains why truly American thinkers and philosophers are now rare in the world.

John, this reflection delivers a penetrating diagnosis of our civilizational pathology: the conflation of expressive vitality with disciplined intellect.

As you incisively note, Nietzsche’s rebellion presupposed the very Bildung our age has now discarded. His transgression was refined by cultivation; theirs is merely jejune. When authority relinquishes the dignity of inquiry and dissent abandons intellectual discipline, what remains is not dialectic but sophistry. The authentic Socratic elder serves as midwife to the latent order of thought, not as moral adjudicator.

Your elegy for Charlie Kirk illuminates the precise void in our cultural discourse. He had begun to reconcile thumos -- spirited vitality -- with sophrosyne -- measured restraint. The remedy for decadence will never be greater fury, but the reimposition of form as the vessel of truth.

Since God called His son Charlie Kirk home to Heaven, I can only conclude that we are about to enter into a very different even more toxic world. A Great Awakening has begun globally, many are being saved through the free gift of Grace as they believe and put their trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior. Whether it is THE Awakening before the end, remains to be seen. It is very important for all believers in Christ to keep your repentant heart pure and your focus on the Eternal.

Though I appreciate your sentiment, I chafe at the theological (and incorrect) idea that "God called his son Charlie Kirk home to Heaven." A theology that imagines God as a puppet master is not to my liking. And neither is the idea that when Satan, or the Demiurge, or demonic forces act to cause harm that we attribute such evil to God. God did not call Charlie, Satan's assassins knocked him out. Yes, the OT God, the Ruler of the World, engages in foul play, but the Christian God does not. We see a huge contest right now between those who adhere to true Christian theology and those who conflate NT theology with the OT. In fact, we just witnessed a thousand pastors travel to become theologically damaged by a conflation of OT theology with true Christianity.

I'm of the opinion there is a very "real world" reckoning headed our way in the not too distant future. It's in the form of a polar excursion, as they are termed (they are cyclical), to be most likely preceded by a civilization ending "kill shot" in the form of a relatively large solar flare (they are also periodic in various harmonics) which our Earth is increasingly vulnerable to due to accelerating weakening of the Earth's protective magnetic field. (And why we are increasingly seeing unusual auroras inresponse to otherwise normal solar weather storms.) The elite (our betters) are entirely aware of this circumstance, which will see a drastic culling of the world's species including our own, and fully intend to leverage themselves an advantageous post-apocalyptic position by snapping up all the power and property they can ahead of time, pre-positioning them selves (including their undergraound bunkers for what they will be worth) and simultaneously eliminating much of the competition (the rest of us, in a coming new-age ) beforehand. This is a likely explanation as well for all the insanity and viscious, cruel lethality being programatically perpetrated upon humanity that we can witness all around.

Nick Fuentes has TWO very different faces, one for those who pay him money via his podcast, the other which expands his popularity among most influential individuals, like Tucker C., for example. In his Tucker interview he expressed few things, like 'loving Stalin' which would make anyone to raise eyebrows.

Tucker did that interview to see and let people know 'how young generation thinks' and that was totally mixed up, partly inspiring, partly totally disgusting and frankly inhumane. Exactly that Charlie tried to address with his entire life, trying to influence many things, among places like this one:

https://freebeacon.com/campus/this-has-gone-way-too-far-videos-show-bizarre-sexual-ceremony-that-elite-amherst-college-pushes-all-first-year-students-to-attend/

which showed a clear reaction AFTER he was gone:

The best resource to follow up on Charlies death, is to listen to Candace, in my opinion, the recent example at :

All of her Charlie Kirk shows are worth watching, including the first one, a remembrance of Kirk. I'd never known anything about Kirk, didn't realize she'd worked and traveled with him. I'd just started watching her out of curiosity, as there are many things she and Ron Unz agree on, but Unz had written an article suggesting her series on the Macrons was so crazy that it would discredit conservativism. She hasn't proved yet that Brigitte was born a man, but has definitely convinced me that the Macrons, surrounded by perverts and pedophiles, are clearly among the worst globalist puppets. Seeing Trump associating in any way with Macron, Starmer, Merz, and von der Leyen is disgusting.

I admire your perseverance for watching a Pierce Morgan interview. I cannot watch that man at all. Maybe he is all tongue in cheek but I'm convinced he is just slow to realise the actual turn of events everytime an important story breaks. He will defend the official narrative to a point where most people have already realised what the actual facts are. Fuentes may regard himself as a serious commentator, but, he is purely there for entertainment, if you have nothing else to do, once a year. I equally admire Tucker for enduring an hour of listening to a guy who is that rooster who thinks it invented the sunrise.
