The Demonrats want the US taxpayers to continue to pay for gender reassignment surgeries. Doesn’t sound like these people with gender dysmorphia will have time to be in battle.

Annie's avatar

They can fight with "pride" as they are so full of it. 😉

Sheila England's avatar

Trans "women" who are born biologically male are required to register. Trans "men" born biologically women are not required to register for SS.

Annie's avatar

Not now as they want women to register too.

Suzy Cue's avatar

Yep. Can’t have your cake and eat it too.

Sheila England's avatar

Did you just read my answer? That comes directly from the SS website under Trans.

Kathleen Janoski's avatar

The trans that are now active duty are exempt from physical fitness tests and cannot be deployed.

Sandra Lee Smith's avatar

They won't; they are undeployable! Someone else will get double deployment in their stead!

Pamela Z's avatar

Well, most of them are biological men.

Sandra Lee Smith's avatar

Would you want someone with so little character beside you in a foxhole? No, thanks! The delusional are not good military material!

World War, conscription of our youth, especially child bearing age women, has got to be part of the depopulation agenda.

NO CONSCRIPTION...The People would be within their rights to totally wipe D.C. off the map.

Allie's avatar

Not to mention the expansion of access to abortion.

Sheila England's avatar

The military does not pay for abortion. 😒 🙄

Anna Marie's avatar

They don't have to with our military taking the required jabs. Reportedly still born births, & spontaneous miscarriages for pregnant women have been alarmingly high following the covidian jabs. Of course, most of any negative reactions are still unreported & unacknowledged.

Allie's avatar

The military does pay for leave and travel expenses for abortions.

Sheila England's avatar

I didn't say that. I said the military does NOT pay for abortions. I am well versed in what the military does and does not pay for myself being a Tricare recipient.

Deborah's avatar

You can’t have childbearing when you don’t equally value the lives of the men, or should I say, the sacrificial lambs.

Sheila England's avatar

You do realize that there are plenty of MOS jobs that women can fill? This doesn't necessarily mean in direct combat roles.

Maureen's avatar

Oh, goody goody! Yay, all our daughters/granddaughters will be in safe MOS's! I still don't freaking want them to be conscripted, don't you get it?

I have noted in many movies over the last 20 years that 120lb women can make mincemeat out of at least ten 250lb men so it would make more sense to only send the women to war.

Pamela Z's avatar

I just had a similar conversation with my husband. Women in heels running after "bad" guys twice their size and taking them down. The choreography is actually kinda cool, but in the real world, it's not going to happen. I'm 5 foot 8 inches tall and about 117 lbs. There is no way in hell I could take down a man 6 feet tall and 190lbs (and I'm not a sissy girl by any means. I'm tough as crap). But it still doesn't matter how tough I am or if I have a double degree black belt with a specialty in Akido thrown in. He's kicking my ass - probably would kill me if he hit me hard enough. The TV shows and movies want to make women strong! Women can do anything a man can do! Bullshit. Men are stronger and faster. Men and women are different and I actually embrace the differences. The next generation is in for a whole lot of trouble. It's quite sad.

Allie's avatar

The methods of war are more different now with technology, drones and increasing possibility of the use of nukes and bioweapons. With all of the military age men coming across our borders from China and other unfriendly nations, or citizens, men and women alike, better be prepared to defend themselves. Red Dawn? Learn to use a gun, stock up on ammo, study Mandarin Chinese and Russian.

LeadCPA - very good point!!

War is not real for most people until they find themselves on the front lines getting shot at. At that point it is too late to do anything but follow orders and hope you escape death or injury.

Kathleen Janoski's avatar

Do not comply. Resist! They just want war and more war. I’m sick of the demented idiots in DC trying to destroy everything about America. Being in the service teaches love of country and many wonderful character and life skills; however, I think the Dems point is war and more war. They started this darn war in 2014 when Obama went to Ukraine and created a coup and put puppet Zelensky in office. He was an actor. They broke the treaty that was made to never invite Russia’s past countries in NATO. They want to capture Russia. Aggression is EVIL. I’m sick of them following Satan. They will kill us all.

OpenYourEyes's avatar

It's crazy how theatrics, gaslighting, and narrative manipulation can lead to so much destruction, done with the goal of grifting, bullying, and control.

Honeybee's avatar

Good catch on the female inclusion, John. I don't watch TV nor participate in social media. I do, however, watch YT videos in a rather desultory and indiscriminate manner. E.g., I'll watch news clips from all over the nation if a particular story interests me. I've noted again and again that female cops cannot restrain even a rather small man. If a man doesn't come to assist the female officer, she can't subdue nor handcuff a suspect. They yell a lot in their "male voice," but that's about it.

The Cartel must be seriously perturbed by their spectacular lack of results from Covid and segue into reimagining the world. They've fallen back on their old standard: war...but now including the female of species. They're determined to get that 8 billion down to a manageable number.

pretty-red, old guy's avatar

Hmmm. What happened back in the early 70's when the gubment used a guy's birthday as a means to select draftees for 'Nam? Did that happen by the DoD's rule making or did Congress enact that?

How can such an immense decision by turned into a simple rule change by a government agency without Congress enacting a law; a law where my representative has a "say"?

The House bill is very different, eliminating DEI on the DOD, no more trans surgeries and other conservative principles.

David Hill's avatar

pretty-red, old guy,

You make a very good point. Hmmm. I'm also wondering if congress could reverse this policy?

I'm not sure how the draft number selection process was enacted. I'll bet it wasn't that way for WWII, nor for the Korean War but for the Vietnam War..., my guess is that with all the protests and social turmoil that war created that somebody had to devise a way to defuse at least some of the anxiety that 18 year old men faced back then.

Allie's avatar

I was alive during that time and I remember my mother waiting to find out what the draft numbers would be for my brothers.

pretty-red, old guy's avatar

something one is NOT likely to forget. . . mine was 65. Due to an eff up by my college I almost showed up at basic.

David Hill's avatar

YIKES!! Glad you were able to defer service.

David Hill's avatar

Mine was 185. They were only calling up to 100 that year, in fact I believe they only got up to 80 and then had a new lottery.

Yeah..., the good old days..., not knowing whether or not you were going to be picked to ruin your life as well as those on the opposing side.

Who cares if it is fair or right? My country right or wrong. No questions will be tolerated.

And then the powers that be were stunned to find out that despite the shrill propaganda campaigns they had instigated for years that there still were people who could question the insanity they proposed. It came as quite a shock to them.

Keith Coolidge's avatar

It was by lottery, every birth date got a number . They only forced low number lottery winners to go.

This was how it was for Nam .

Angela Traynor's avatar

This nonsense has to stop. This administration wants World War III. This has to be stopped.

John Underwood's avatar

There is a solution to all of this, and it's one that I truly wish would be employed:

Everyone, regardless of gender or anything else, should refuse to serve in the United States military until the present disgusting mess, we call a government is eliminated.

I genuinely wish that literally no one would volunteer for military service, and if the Satanic regime and deep state gangsters (including the worthless military hierarchy) institute the draft, give 'em the finger.

I'd go to jail before hoisting a weapon for this putrid bunch of monsters.

Now, I'm not naive enough to think that what I'm suggesting would ever happen, but considering the significant and completely justified decline in enlistment, we may be getting close enough to what I propose to accomplish something, hopefully positive. Obviously, the corrupt politicians wouldn't be talking about this selective service stuff if they didn't have a pretty good idea that the draft may have to be reinstitute in order to have a partially functioning military.

Funny how 20 years of completely unnecessary wars, ones that did nothing but kill millions of people, make the world a more dangerous place, and cause lots of guys to come home missing arms, legs, eyes, parts of their brains, and lives, will cause even the young and dumb to pause before doing something totally stupid.

John Underwood's avatar

Well, thank you! I'm old, too. And way-red, as in in redneck.

Peace!

suannee's avatar

I'm for it. Although I thought getting rid of conscription was a good idea, I think we would not be engaged in as many wars if it were still in place. An all "volunteer" army is not a good idea. It has been shown that members of the military in Abu Ghraib and Gitmo, for example, have turned out to enjoy engaging in torture. War and the training for it probably brings out a lot of the worst behaviors. When people have to think about their children being put into war situations, they might not be as gung ho about going to war. I am anti war period.

AG Fairfield's avatar

Will this make progressive GenZ women reconsider their politics??
