When I hit a pothole while driving here in Cali, I’m reminded of how many billion$ we’ve given to illegal aliens, so they can vote for Democrats who will do nothing to fix our crumbling infrastructure.
I’ve lived in Cali since I was 5 and am extremely old. I have a sneaking suspicion they’re trying to herd us out of Cali into what appears to be a less insane red state, but then they’ll shift the red state to blue once they have us trapped there in detention centers. Not paranoid much?
The bigger problem is the vulnerability of our infrastructure to foreign agents and domestic terrorists. We’ve been talking about our power grid for decades but nothing seems to be doing about that. How about our bridges; any major highway bridges ready to collapse? And we learned that our air traffic control computers are out of date and need to be replaced. The Demonrats have invested taxpayer money on green energy that is a farse.
What happened to the funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the roughly $1.2 trillion that Congress authorized in 2021 to address infrastructure problems? Much of it was intended to support traditional infrastructure like roads, bridges, rail, transit, water systems, and broadband—yet significant portions went toward the green energy scam.
This green energy scam has contributed to a large transfer of wealth from taxpayers to corporations and executives in those sectors. Meanwhile, if you travel on U.S. highways, bridges, and other infrastructure, it’s clear that much of it remains deteriorating and at risk of further decline.
This is no big deal. It was done deliberately so that the elite class in and around Washington DC would have a place to swim. They weren’t comfortable with the Potomac waters pre-spill and now they feel right at home, diving and cavorting in their natural element.
It’s not just the lack of concern for infrastructure or that we have a thirty year history of buying inferior products from abroad, but a propagandized uniparty programmed understanding that “somebody” will fix it while whistling past the grave yard.
It comes down to a liberal or conservative purview.
