I am an excellent physician and I have been licensed, providing care and prevention for patients for 50 years but the insurance industry has done everything possible to run me out of business! I currently have a lawsuit. Patients need to wake up and realize that it's the insurance industry that gets rid of Doctors like me, who provide options in care that patients want. You should all be suing your insurance companies for not giving you any options in care! You pay them to help you not to harm you but they are harming you. They make it one size fits all or you're supposed to get out. You the patient must demand choice!

I'm happy to lead a revolution demanding appropriate care and payment by insurance!

Thank you for your 50 years plus of caring for people. It takes a very patient, empathy, knowledge & mature soul to be a real Doctor.

I am still that! I need to continue to see patients because they need to see a doctor like me who isn't on drugs, pays attention to the diet, gets plenty of sleep and exercise and early morning sunshine to reverse the damage from blue light! It's all about the amount of light And getting blue light out of your environment. Also do not ever take Tylenol, acetaminophen because you lose your ability to have empathy for others! They lied and never told you this! They put it in everything especially kid medicine😳

You are one of a kind! A true Hippocratic doctor. It is unfortunate that the majority of the doctors do not have your knowledge and do what you do.

Good for you Dr Sharon. I admire you for actually being a true doctor taking care of your patients and not following government and insurance co. guidelines. You know best, not them. They know only profit and not healthcare. Keep on your road to provide good healthcare. Bravo!!!

At first glance one would think the insurance companies would find it in their best interest to foster the best health of the insured, since that would reduce their payouts. If you think a little deeper, it doesn't work that way for some good reasons. For one thing, if people are healthy and robust, they're not willing to pay as much for health insurance, they might forego it, as we finally did for years, being self-employed and health-conscious. Once the price reached a certain point, it made more sense to take our chances. Another thing - the health insurance companies are mostly owned by the same large investors as pharma and the medical cartel. If they make more from their investments in the "health care" industry than it costs them when insurance payouts increase (which are offset by premium increases anyway) their incentive is sickness, not health. So, we pay them twice - higher premiums for insurance (they ain't losing money) and 18-19% of GDP going into their pockets to pay for the sickness they cause.

I've got no use for most forms of insurance. They feed on our fear of loss of health and money. I've been burned before by the "fine print". They make it difficult to claim and will delay as long as possible when they are compelled to pay in my experience.

The paradigm is changing in our inverted world. We need to take responsibility for our own health, not outsource it to shady (for profit) companies.

It's a hard pill to swallow for many I'm sure, and the system is so entrenched due to obscene profits all around. Money has momentum and resists change that would threaten the status quo.

Yes quite impossible for most to understand that their drs, health insurance company’s and the entire medical community profits from their illness. So there it is, the truth! Keep us on the fringe of good health and we’ll always come back for more care, appts and profits. Makes sense to them. Sad!!!!☹️

Doctor office visit in 1983, cost approximately $15! Now, without insurance that same visit that is likely the cost you over $300. The increase in charges did not go to anything significant for your health, you paid for a the multimillion dollar luxurious living of the insurance CEOs. The doctors on insurance are owned by insurance and will do as they are told! Your life is not safe!

Thank you Dr. Olson! I'd like to share something that may help you, or at least provide an idea that you might be able to work with. My employer offered the typical health insurance options, however there was an additional option that I had never seen before. A local GP offered a health care plan as well. My fee for the employee only plan is $99 per mo, payroll deducted ( I've since left the company & have it set up on auto-pay). Zero cost for an office appointment (no copay). She never rushes me through my appt. I've had 30 min apts & have had 1 hour appts. She actually listens & is very thorough! I can either pay her for blood work done at her office, but for those that also have health ins, she will provide a script to go to a Lab that your ins plan covers. The same for any other services. The services that she offers has saved me time & money, eliminating the need for some of the additional doctors that I no longer need to go. For more info, here is her link. https://familyfirsthealthcenter.com/meet-dr-delicia/

That’s why I don’t have insurance, I learned that 20 years ago, and still had to pay into it on the job. Once I was laid off ( factory went to China) and found a new job, I refused the insurance BS. Paid all my own doctor bills out of pocket, saved lots of money that way.

Sharon olson: it’s become obvious that any doctor who accepts insurance is stuck in a certain paradigm, for treatment options. I only see a functional medicine MD who left that paradigm and opened her own clinic…she accepts no insurance. But seeing her vs. a ‘typical’ allopathic doctor who uses insurance is like night and day. I admire her for taking this big risk. Her clinic has grown, and most of her staff (docs and RNs) were either fired or quit from Mayo Clinic (due to Covid19 shot mandates, enforced in the extreme by Mayo).

You're smart! If you have insurance, you should insist that the money you're paying for your integrated medicine doctor must go for your deductible or total out-of-pocket expenses for the year. How dare the insurance companies deny paying legitimate doctors or at least putting that toward the patient's deductible!

Hey, if I could do that, I would. Of course it isn’t fair…but one can’t ‘insist’ an insurance company / Medicare do anything.

Sharon olson's avatar

It used to be written in the policy that if you went to an outside provider they had to apply that amount toward your deductible or total out of pocket expenses for the year. If that's still in your policy, you have legal grounds to force them to do as they have in their policy.

They are taking our money and putting it in their back pocket and they're not doing anything with those funds that they're supposed to be doing. The insurance industry is supposed to help people with their healthcare but there is no such thing as Healthcare with the insurance industry! It's called drug care and death care. They either make a profit taking care of you or you will be dead because you cost them! Covid started paying the hospitals more to kill you than to help you recover. How does the insurance industry get away with blatant murder?A

Thank you. Doctors who want the best care for their patients are rare. Many Americans don’t know they’re ill until they watch 20-30 advertisements for new medications per half hour. The ads show young people playing sports, laughing with school friends, but having body odor, bad breath, acne, anxiety, joint pain, etc… endless list of symptoms that only the new medicine of the day will cure. The ad urges to report the symptoms to your doctor and to request the new drug for your common problem.

No other countries advertise new pharmaceuticals every few minutes. It's no wonder children are chronically ill in the USA. A pill for every ill.

My thoughts are these are all highly paid and hand-picked vaccines-only-approach to health people. They are the plants from Pharma. I calculated how much, on average each of them make - a whopping $180,000 per year for each of the 10,000 let go. These are the upper-management-types, not the lowly “worker” as the BBC article implies. So, Yes!!! Fire them all so we can use that almost TWO BILLION to treat those injured by the Co-vax maybe???

Why Conventional Medicine is Failing... is the subject of my next free newsletter 8-24-25 barbaracharis.substack.com. For 64 years I have been doing research on the subject of health and nutrition. Good health stems from simple things like Hippocrates recommended: The right natural unprocessed foods and a healthy lifestyle. Our world is so polluted today that one must be totally aware of the environmental hazards to avoid. It is not easy to obtain good health, but one has to rely on oneself and follow a healthy life style...in order to achieve it.

What Kennedy is doing is amazing, I have no respect for those who sit back and criticize this mover and shaker, who cannot go above Congress, yet is managing to herald in changes that no one has up until now. He never promised to take shots off the market. He is letting the public know they are not safe and bringing back choice. If he was to remove harmful pharma products, well that might take another 100 years.

Perhaps Bill Gates could find some work for these 600 former CDC employees on one of his farms, learning to grow healthy food to prevent disease, instead of inventing diseases. He could hire Fauci... sorry, re-hire Fauci as his foreman to supervise the production. Of course, all shipments from "the farm" would have to be carefully assessed, given Gate's history of eugenics. Personally, I would not eat anything Gates had to do with, or trust anything the CDC approves.
