It would pay for men to learn what is lowering their testosterone...soy is one of the foods men should avoid. In addition, processed foods have very limited value, primarily calories! One of the healthiest men that I have ever met back in 1980...lived on fruits and vegetables in abundance. He looked no older than 30, all his hair, no gray, no glasses and a 28 inch waist. He liked to work out with weights and enter physique contests; and he usually won beating out 20 to 30 year olds. I spoke to him about 2 years ago, before he moved to Tahiti. He was still biking all over San Pedro, California at 93. I have been into health research for 64 years and never met a healthier American male. He had followed Dr. Norman W. Walker's advice, since he was 16 years old. Dr. Walker wrote ten books on health and nutrition. He lived well over 100 healthy years.
Exercise is great...all my life i have been into exercise. However, the poison that people are ingesting daily in their toxic foods and other matter being ingested and injected...is breaking down their internal organs...and all kinds of athletes have been suddenly dropping dead.
Nutrient-poor food with additives, preservatives, pesticides, hormones, and any item ingested or injected that is non-food, such as, alcohol, drugs, vaccines. are all stresses on the human body...and if unhealthy people exercise vigorously...it could be the straw that breaks their backs.
Unfortunately it still doesn't truly address the root cause of Low T which is estrogen dominance.
Join the movement against the bioidentical hormone manipulation of children. Every child deserves the right to grow into the body they were born in. 50 years of ongoing breast cancer research shows that many plants and "health foods" are contributing to estrogen dominance diseases. Commonly found commercial food brand ingredients like Soy, Flax, Sesame, Chickpea, Lavender, and even hemp/CBD are also causing a chronic feminization of the male species, and causing gender dysphoria in young girls. When people compound these plants, vegan diets, concentrated essential oils, supplements, herbs and other products, major hormone imbalance aka estrogen dominance occurs. During developmental stages this will have extensive irreversible damage, likely leading to gender confusion as they grow into adulthood.
Learn the truth about bioidentical estrogen (phytoestrogen) and the massive spike in hormone related diseases including: breast cancer, uterine & ovarian cancer, PCOS, PMDD, PMS, Hypothyroidism, Low T, Trans, Gender Dysphoria, Nonbinary, Early Menopause & Early Puberty!
Many women have supplemented themselves into an estrogen dependency, similar to an opioid junky treating the symptoms.
This is the entry from the back of my wife's 8th medical research book:
In the 1980s, Dr. Hobbins, a researcher in thermography, alerted the public about the link between soy consumption and an increased risk of breast cancer. The introduction of soy into processed foods in the late 1970s coincided with an increase in breast cancer rates, from 1 in 11 in 1980 to 1 in 8 by 1992. Since 1979, there was a reported annual increase of 1% in the incidence of breast cancer among men, and testosterone levels have been decreasing by approximately 1% annually since 1980. Effects are seen in women first.
In terms of potency, a gram is a billion times stronger than a nanogram. While chemicals like Atrazine, BPA, and phthalates raise estrogen levels, the use of popular phytoestrogens (PE) has exponentially increased this estrogenic effect. This is exemplified by products like the Impossible Burger, which contains an estimated 18 million times more estrogen than a Whopper. Combining these findings with studies showing the transplacental transfer of soy from mother to fetus, and the ability of Japanese researchers to produce all-female catfish populations using soy, raises concerns.
Their 2013 publication marked a milestone as the first researchers to publish medical evidence that demonstrated flax and bio-identical estrogen increased risk of breast cancer with a chapter warning about the feminizing effects on men. Research indicates that one cup of soy has the estrogenic effect comparable to one birth control pill, and flax is twenty times stronger than soy.
However, doctors advocated the health benefits of plant-based lifestyles. Adopting this trend, many women integrated estrogenic supplements like chasteberry, prepared meals with estrogenic chickpea pasta and sesame seeds, applied estrogenic lavender on their children and estrogenic CBD on their husbands.
The men's supplement industry has also embraced the PE trend, rebranding estrogenic fenugreek as 'free testosterone' and incorporating flax oil into testosterone injections. Over the last forty years, research has indicated a concerning trend: a 25% decrease in testosterone levels, a 52% drop in sperm counts, and an alarming study warns that if these trends persist, sperm counts could reach zero by 2045. Decline in testosterone results from an excess of estrogen.
The widespread use of PEs has led to excess estrogen levels causing PMS, menopause symptoms, low testosterone, early puberty. Women were labeled ‘crazy’ when they tried to express their symptoms. Doctors didn’t listen and prescribed synthetic hormones and bio-identical estrogen to mask the side effects, similar to how addicts are treated. Breast cancer remains the second leading cause of death. It's reported that the identification of girls as transgender has surged by 4,000%. Doctors recommend hormone therapy.
Due to the public's and doctors' reluctance to acknowledge physiology, we've reached a critical precipice. Children are exhibiting symptoms of gender dysphoria, and signs of feminization among boys. Treat the root cause: reduce estrogen.
Phytoestrogens: the pill no one can swallow. Dr. Sellens' eighth book offers an extensive compilation of research on estrogen making it one of the most comprehensive sources on the subject. Soy Boys: prepare to choke down the truth.

I thought fenugreek was a T-booster. You think it has a net negative effect on T? I'm 74, last years testosterone tests showed levels of a 40-45 year old, so that was nice to see. But maybe sprinkling fenugreek on my salads and breakfast skillets is a bad idea?? I do eat a lot of red meat, particularly wild venison, and lift as heavy as I can without hurting myself or overtraining. The last thing I need is to eat something that's bad for T levels, there's plenty of red meat out there.
I've excluded majority of phytoestrogens from my diet, though I'm 43 im in the best shape of my life. I only consume soy/flax free meats aka grassfed/grassfinished including soy/flax free chicken and eggs. You must confirm with your local farmer what the animals are being fed. Fenugreek used to be given to breastfeeding mothers to assist in lactation. My wife and I firmly believe that high phytoestrogenic plants and herbs are being pushed onto the masses to intentionally cause hormone manipulation. Though I still occasionally eat vegetables or use specific herbs, I always avoid these most common ingredients. I hope that helps. My wife also has a chart of plants and herbs including phytoestrogwnic content strengths. You should be able to access from her IG linktree, but if you can't find it, I can post link and instructions to direct you to it.
I took a look...lots of good information. My current newsletter (10-5-25) just went out: Is there a Science of Nutrition? Or is the Food Industry the Authority? barbaracharis.substack.com
Women also need testosterone. It depletes when they go through menopause. No studies are ever done for women and a Dr can prescribe it to a female patient but insurance won’t pay for it, only men are covered.
Isn’t it the free, unbound, testosterone that is the active form that should be measured, not the total? And don’t forget about marijuana use as a lifestyle factor that lowers testosterone. And we all know about the COVID shots and other medications that reduce fertility.
We all know “they” are trying to depopulate the planet - so, something like this is a refreshing read. The information herein is something men can perhaps follow to improve their health, etc. “They” haven’t killed
us all yet - we just have to keep moving forward and ignore them as much as possible.
I'm pretty familiar with this subject area, but I'd not heard of TMG being specifically used to raise T. It's not normally in those products. And if it was great at doing that, we'd hear about it a lot. There is research saying after exercise, with TMG there's a bit of a bump with testosterone, it's modifying the testosterone:cortisol ratio post-exercise. I haven't reviewed it all in detail, but is there data suggesting one just takes TMG and their T goes up regardless of exercise ? Hormonal increases post exercise are pretty transient and don't amount to much.
TMG is also what I call a "dirty drug". It has other effects that aren't going to sit well with every single person.
Some of the others might be a bit more consistent in their effect, even if that effect is less.
ATD...this is an example of where your serum T may go up, but you lose the benefits of that extra testosterone, and ATD is particularly self-defeating. If I remember it may interact with other receptors.
I think the interest in T-boosters is because of influencers hawking these products, and customers feeling they want an edge. Most of the people buying them probably have no idea where their testosterone is.

Chrysin is an excellent aromatse inhibitor, and it can be taken for a very long time without any side effects. For older men, who are prone to BPH, taking Chrysin along with saw palmetto (DHT blocker) is very helpful. It keeps the free testosterone high, keeps BP and lipid markers under control and protects prostate.
Great article. Betaine is all around a great supplement. In the future consider including F95 (Forskolin) as part of your testing as that seems to be one of the best natural test boosters out there.
Right now my pre workout contains betaine anhydrous so I just use that. I don't usually buy it as a standalone but rather make sure its in my PWO. Only standalones I take are Yohimbine and Creatine Mono. When trying to boost test its important to remember that healthy fat consumption is necessary...so eat those avocados! Also, doing the big 3 when working out supposedly helps test production as well so make sure you are always doing squats, deadlifts and bench with every workout.
Just stick with reputable brands and you'll be okay: Swanson, Jarrow, Scivation/Primaforce, PES, Applied Nutraceuticals, Optimum Nutrition, etc
I wanted to thank you for this article on betaine ( trimethylglycine).
There is so much hype and lying out there on such subjects that getting it from a trusted source such as yourself was a blessing. As such I did some more research and reading on this compound and decided to try it.
It will take a few weeks I think to notice any positive effects macro effects, short of blood work, I believe so I have yet to report anything positive but I can say nothing adverse has cropped up.
My research on betaine led me also to investigate ksm66, which is a special ashiwaganda extract made by and Indian firm I believe. As I am sure you know the Indians have done a fair amount of research into natural substances for their medical effects, perhaps due to their poorer population being less able to afford the exorbitant prices of western/synthetic pharmaceuticals.
I found some interesting clinical research on Ksm66 and wondered what your opinion of it might be. Admittedly much of it seems to have been done by the developers of this extract and so may well be tainted with conflict of interest concerns, and yet, much of what I read did seem valid, at least from my limited training in public health (MS Industrial Hygiene/Occupational Health).
Thank you again for all you do and should you have time to respond or do a follow up piece on this substance I would anxiously anticipate it.
I haven't looked into this very much but I have this idea that testosterone is incredibly liver and kidney protective and it's actually a lack of it that leads to worse outcomes in men for chronic kidney disease, because men need the testosterone they get. Anyway, it's protective until it isn't and they get the prostate stuff, for which they're given testosterone suppression and they end up with diabetes and auto immune (women dominate auto immune but men seem to get it extra when they do). When we get diabetes there's some kind of liver thing happening. What goes on in the liver with the T and how can I keep that happening for my man and also create that for a dog who lost his testicles too soon, and now has CKD?
