There are legal means to interdict the shipments, if they exist. Follow the boats to their next port (likely Trinidad and Tobago) and use police forces. Blasting them with Hellfire Missiles looks great to wanna-be comic book tough guys, but it's a total violation of international law. And the hypocrisy of blowing up these boats, while pardoning a convicted (in US courts) major Honduran drug smuggler, is off the charts.
