I checked the first part of that arithmetic. It is essentially correct.
In the pivotal P304 trial, there were 4 influenza-associated hospitalizations among 20,179 mFLUSIVA recipients versus 8 among 20,124 conventional-vaccine recipients. That's an absolute difference of roughly 1 hospitalization per 5,000 vaccinated. Importantly, however, FDA explicitly says the trial had too few hospitalizations to calculate a meaningful relative efficacy estimate for hospitalization alone; hospitalization was an exploratory outcome, and the trial wasn't powered for it.

TBH, the regular flu shot doesn't look too good with this data either (wrt Grade 3 events specifically), but the mRNA one looks much much worse, indeed.
