I come from a very pro Zionist family. Participated in the 1960’s in a Zionist youth group and thought Israel was the greatest place on earth. But while in college I walked away from Judaism and all side trimmings associated with it - In the process learned to think critically about everything. "He appeared to receive an injection on live television" is all that can be stated with honesty. Why bother with saline? If you don't want the jab just make it appear you're being injected, but use a "trick" syringe that doesn't even puncture the skin. That's what I'd do. Piercing the skin and injecting something would be pointless if it's for show.
