Part of the fun after the Covid jabs, apparently, was discussing which brand you got. The NHS just tells you to come in for a jab (or bring your children in) or the GP just turns up at the old people's homes and they stick a needle in you. The vet at least puts a sticker in your dog's health card with the name of the brand used. So people in the UK won't even know they are being poisoned.
My mother in law (95 years old) is in a care home. Nothing wrong with her except too old to live alone so she chose a care home rather than moving in with a son. She is quite capable of asking what the current injections are for but the medic will say it's the 'flu/covid/shingles jab and it's for her own protection. She has faith in the system. Many people still have faith in the system - they believe the NHS is "the envy of the world", their doctors care about their well-being and that all vaccines are thoroughly tested and safe and effective. These are all the same people who take their statins and blood pressure pills and eventually take their Type 2 diabetes medications. Simply because a bloke in a white coat tells them to.
