To make America Healthy again, we’re going to need to need to redefine what healthy means. If it invokes taking poisons or infusing technology into our humanity, that is not healthy.
I have my doubts too because Americans have become lazy. They want the quick fix provided by fast food and pills.
For example, I am doing an elimination diet right now to address some long-standing gut issues. Currently, I am nearing the one month with no sugar, dairy, gluten, soy, fruits, nuts, caffeine, or alcohol. It takes a lot of prep work and is more expensive to eat mainly organic whole foods and lean protein. Granted, many of these foods will come back into my diet over the course of a four month period. So it also takes time, but I believe I will be better off because of it in the long run.
I do not believe that most Americans would be willing to cut out these very things that are causing many of their health issues.
Agree! You’ve hit the mark. Americans have become a mass instant gratification society on everything/anything. With regard to your elimination diet, I’m certain you’ll find the right combination for you. Keep on keeping on! :)
Dr. Peter, your definition of "healthy" is LACKING. "Healthy" MUST ALSO include emotional, psychological, SPIRITUAL health. IN 2025, THERE ARE More suicides, more adhd, more autism, less joy in the lives of Americans. Kids aren't safe to ride their bikes until dark, for example. We are more fearful, less spiritual. Less church attendance which means our values have declined. We are in greater degree of slavery: Nixon took USA off the Gold Standard and we are even more enslaved by the Federal Reserve (they aren't federal nor do they have reserves for We the People! The evil Banksters own Blackrock, Vanguard. Their founding patriarch said, "Whoever owns the money supply essentially owns the people"). Our free speech is limited and therefore, we are increasingly enslaved. So, we are NOT HEALTHIER just because average life span DID INCREASE. IT'S WAY DOWN: MORE KIDS ARE DYING YOUNG, MORE INFANTS ARE DYING, AUTISM IS 1 IN 12 IN BOYS... it was only 1 in 1,000 if that during the 1970's.... so we are NOT HEALTHIER. We are not WISER. Less church attendance, less wisdom, more depression... the list goes on. So I ask you readers, Are we healthier overall? The obvious answer is NO. God Bless you all here. Get a good study bible and get into a Bible based church. You will see your health--and joy and blessings increase when we follow the God of the Bible. Amen.
Read "America's Soul Under Siege: The Implosion of the Middle Class...." by COHEN. Easy to understand and says it all boldly. The last chapter is most important.
Dr. McCullough is a special and rare talent in the med profession in these times. I am ardent supporter of him and The Wellness group and their products. Given the well thought out and broad spectrum approach by poisoning just about everything from our soils, foods, and even our toilet paper is it even possible to even think about making America health again?
If I had known early on covid was a GOF virus I would have tried to avoid it, some people I know, few though, never contracted it, they stayed home. Instead, I thought contracting it would provide natural immunity to a zoonotic virus. The GOF component was disastrous, and I developed long covid. What a crime by Fauci to the world. Why are there no prosecutions for such a monumental crime? All doctors should check spike levels as a matter of course, but of course most don't believe the virus or vaccine have negative ramifications. Where is mass rage? People are still in a trance. Can you imagine if there was a government advisory campaign on the media, advising people to check their blood levels of spike, while explaining that only 25% of Pfizer batches put people at risk. Then advise those with high levels to do a spike detox protocol. Think of all the advertizing to wear an idiotic mask, so very possible to encourage a spike detox campaign then. No excuse not to. No excuse either to protect the culprits that have ruined so many lives. Can the average person escape prosecution for any other discovered fraud, say for embezzling a million dollars? I am really angry at my friends and neighbours, but I keep it in check. This fiasco has shown me so much about human nature that I was unaware of prior. Not good.
Dr. McCullough is correct. If you are not obese, and do not smoke, you are way ahead of the game. Quit telling people to exercise more. It does not prevent obesity, and it is a poor way to lose weight. You got fat because of your diet.
It is simple. If you want to make America healthier again, prevent obesity. If you want to prevent obesity, eat a better diet.
RFK is correct in that part of the problem is modern food-processing.
If you are obese, you need to go on a weight-loss diet. Once you lose weight, you need to be on a diet that prevents obesity, which is not necessarily a weight-loss diet. If would be great to prevent obesity to start with.
Now we need to decide what is this diet that prevents obesity is. Weight loss diets rarely work because people get hungry. People get fat for almost the same reason. Virtually everyone used to fast 12 hours a day; that is between the last meal of the day and the first of the next. This was the usual course of events for the last 5000 years.
If you want to be on a weight loss diet, just quit eating, that is fasting. Sure you may be hungry for a few days, but the hunger will go away. Normal weight loss will be five pounds a week.
To make Americans healthier, our political leaders need to come to grips with the fact that the food supply is defective and the dietary advice issued by government agencies contains mistakes.
To be sure, swapping linoleic acid for saturated fats does reduce risk of heart attack. However, that risk reduction amounts to only about 30%. To virtually eliminate risk of heart attack requires a reduction in both linoleic acid and arachidonic acid intake. The Mediterranean diet pattern automatically does this. "The Mediterranean diet is low in arachidonic acid and rich in healthy fats such as monounsaturated fats found in extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO), nuts and omega-3 fatty acids from fish, which has been shown to lower the risk of inflammation, heart disease, cancer, diabetes and obesity, and other degenerative diseases." https://advancedmolecularlabs.com/blogs/news/new-red-meat-study-controversy
I am naturally suited to the mediterranean diet, I tried carnivore, didn't suit. However, we have talking heads pushing the carnivore and saying a plant diet is not healthy.
Dr. Mary Talley Bowden recently stated that there have been 38,000 associated deaths from these "vaccines". I'd appreciate some clarification on this discrepancy, between what Dr. McCullough states & what Dr. Bowden has stated.
I have only read, not listened, yet...but my first instinct is that drugs have kept us alive longer...not that we have been healthier since the 1960s. They are the reason most have lived longer. My family was unique - always looking at healthy choices, exercising. Even from the 1960s. Interested in listening. Thanks for all you do.

👏 Brilliant!
Wow, amazing presentation Dr McCullough.
To make Americans healthier, our political leaders need to come to grips with the fact that the food supply is defective and the dietary advice issued by government agencies contains mistakes.
The defects in the food supply have to do with the practice of feeding oilseeds to livestock. https://journals.biologists.com/jeb/article/224/8/jeb232538/256572/The-under-appreciated-fats-of-life-the-two-types
As for dietary advice, demonizing saturated fats is a mistake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wC0Rzh22JY

Dr. McCullough was referring to US deaths. Dr. Mary Talley Bowden was referring to worldwide deaths.
