Sadly, much of that fiat debt-based borrowing and spending economy, goes directly to producing weapons of war. Most of the apparent prosperity produces nothing of any real value - just countless deaths, that most of us are happy to ignore. It enriches the less than one percenter ruling class, and provides jobs in dirty and blood-soaked industries, creating an economy of Imperialist degeneracy.

I recently heard that if you subtract the AI Data Center boom, designed to enslave and destroy the many of us - US economic growth has been less than one percent, for the past year.

I can't tell if the Captains on our Titanic imperial voyage, are aiming for the iceberg out of foolishness and hubris - or if they're deliberately trying to kill us all. I'm guessing that they all have reserved seats, in the lifeboats.

Well said. I’m turning 60 soon & I feel like my generation fell through the cracks- and trusted our gov. & agencies for far too long. We missed the Vietnam/ Woodstock protests, & corruption by gov., never really had a direct effect on us. ( or so we thought) The 70s & 80s was a great time to grow up. I too appreciate your historical and cultural references. As someone who obviously reads, I highly recommend Benjamin McEvoy's Hardcore Literature Book Club on YouTube. Benjamin studied English literature at Oxford & has literally read all of the classics which is what the book club does deep dives into. At present, we're reading Jane Austen's "Emma" and prior to that read "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," and Daphne du Maurier's "Rebecca." Every December, Benjamin chooses a Dickens' novel to study & this year it's "Bleak House." The book club has also done deep dives into everything Shakespeare wrote including the sonnets. It's the best investment I've ever made in my literary education & has really improved my self-discipline. I've been a voracious reader since I was a young child & this is as good as it gets.

There are economists from his administration that told him his economic plan wouldn’t work- part of it was trickle down- they laughed and said ok. Proceeded with his plan and then a certain class of people became seriously wealthy- millionaires. We are seeing similar things since the democrats took over - gates became a billionaire, Zuckerberg, Besos, (Google guy), all billionaires. There soon will be a trillionaire. Warren buffet was only a multimillionaire- how did he become a billionaire? We have a rigged system that some of us can’t play because lack of wealth, knowledge, time, etc but we let outsiders run govt- through media banks etc I believe you can watch a documentary or interview with Reagan’s economists or those who were inside at the time.
