i just listened to a video by eckhart tolle, and it came to me that perhaps consciousness played a role in newton’s and perelman’s approaches, in their abilities to solve to the mathematical questions as well as in their disinterest in the egoic pursuit of recognition or financial reward.
perhaps the delight they experienced in the process itself and in the stillness of being present fulfilled them sufficiently.
perhaps it is this very stillness that allowed them to see the solutions that others could not ✨♾️
Math smart but economically stupid imho! They should have taken the money and donated it to charities rather than waste the opportunities money gives in the right hands…

This story reminds me of the book The War Against Humanity by Anonymous Patriot. As the world grapples with the flood of darkness encircling us, the author explains how and why this is occurring. He also explains the solution, seeking only improvement in his fellow man's condition. The Book of Revelation is also explained, without fanfare, simply to offer Truth. The Holy Spirit never seeks fame or fortune for His work.
According to Newtonian physics, our universe should collapse and zero sum cancel its self. Yet here we are expanding and accelerating. As we humans, of our own free will return the divine Love embedded in each next breath back to it’s source with selfless actions. Instead of snuffing it out in selfish Ego worship.
Why would God risk free will abuse? Because without free will, we would just be wooden puppets. And would not be able to counter Newtonian forces. And without tests, free will would be useless.
Now that Hawking, Einstein et.al. have proven Infinity is real, we can say with certainty that Science can by definition of Infinity, never “have all the answers”. So there will always be a gap of faith.
But we can prove God is in charge of our universe to go with the Divine Love we receive in each next breath. IF this was a random atheist universe, linear time would be randomized. Jumping past, future, pausing randomly in the present. And without 100% reliable repeatable harmonics, language and music would decay into random atheist gibberish. Like an Etch a Sketch proves invisible magnetism, playing the Song Ave Maria over and over without it decaying over forwards only moving linear time on a Divine Authority forwards only Divine ratchet proves God’s Divine authority over our universe.
I tend to side with those who shunned fame, fortune, and notoriety, John Leake. Wisdom dictates the pursuit of peace and serenity in one's life as a priority. I have given patentable inventions to deserving manufacturers who needed a boost, and no thanks was necessary. God knows all things, and this world is temporal. We are to seek treasures in heaven, not here, and we are instructed to NOT CONFORM to this world. The stories are inspiring. Thank you. Those who would be rich are vulnerable to falling into some well known traps, while the wise walk circumspectly, and avoid the evil. God provides all that we need, and more. The LOVE of money IS THE ROOT of all evil.

Getting a million dollars and having it be known to those around you might not be worth the impact it would have on your life?

My husband and brother-in-law are both mathematicians and I remember the excitement Perelman caused by solving the Poincaré problem.
