Trump/Rubio gave the rationale for going into Iran: ballistic missile breakout. If Iran wasn't defanged, it would possess enough ballistic missile and drone capability that no one would/could engage without massive regional+ consequences, and which was proven when Iran launched at its neighbors and still does. The ballistic/drone capacity was cover for persistent nuclear ambitions. They would have guaranteed themselves eventual nuclear capability.

I'm not sure how the discussion went from inflation to disasters, but the first is a good point (inflation). The tie to El Nino is questionable. Type I science shows the temperature data was manipulated to show warming, none of the end of the world indicators that have been raised turnout to be anything other than short term anomalies. Polar bears are fine, all the ice melting at the south pole sits over a volcanic field while total volumes ice are increasing at both poles, coral off the coast of Austraila is at record high levels, etc. You never hear that part, only the alarmism. Did you know, for example, that crops used to grow in Northern Europe that won't grow there today because it is too cold currently? I've dealt with type I science my whole career. Climate alarmism is what I call, Fauci science and those on this forum know how good his science was. . .

You are absolutely right. The impact of carbon dioxide reduces very quickly as the levels increase. At something under 200 ppm the earth cools to where it almost doesn't support life. As co2 rises at that level, temperatures rise quickly. As co2 continues to rise the impact reduces quickly so that high levels of co2 have very little impact. You would think that the earth was created by someone who actually knew what they were doing. . . Net zero is a very bad idea that just ruins economies and really doesn't impact how the earth operates.
