Given CO2 is now about 420 ppm, then the added 900 MT would raise it to 421.03 ppm. About half of that 1.03 ppm would be absorbed by the ocean.
If all 1.03 ppm was retained, the change in forcing would be 5.35*ln(421.03/420)=0.013 W/m^2. The canonical theory is that the atmosphere warms about 1.5 Celsius per doubling of CO2. The doubling ratio is 1.03/420 = 0.00245 of a doubling. The change in temperature from the added forcing of 900 MT of CO2 is then 0.00245*1..5 C = 0.0037 Celsius (change in T is linear with forcing).
If Germany succeeded in eliminating that 900 MT, they'd save the Earth from 37 ten-thousandths of a degree of warming.
That's assuming that added atmospheric CO2 has any impact of sensible heat at all; a case for which there is zero evidence.
