John, do you AT ALL recall that Hillary was GOING to win? Remember those days? Only fool Trump thought he had a chance, and word is that he didn't believe she would lose, either. But, he ran. People responded.

Dog caught bumper.

So, here we are. Don't read the galaxy of meaning into it.

That was a decade ago. Things change.

Do you think Trump meant to be an honest reformer back then or do you think it's been a con all along? My best guess is he meant it but has been corrupted and/or threatened. Would love to hear what you think.

DBC's avatar

He did buckle to the Fauci psyop. He's human.

All this other fear porn about Trump, is wasted time.

The crux of the problem, is that the left can't produce a decent leader that believes in America.

And dementia and corruption and lack of ideals add up.

You say, "As for the public—it it so blinded and divided by partisan sentiment that it cannot see that whatever “candidates” are presented to us are the opposite sides of the same old coin."

Such self-flattery of yourself, and your arrogance towards others speaks more of you John, that YOU - - - -who purports to be a historian, only want to pin "stupidity" on "the public" - which of course, doesn't include you...

Yet I've never seen an honest assessment from you of the vapidness of Obama's campaign rhetoric, or an analysis as to why so many thought "Yes we can" was a true measure of policy which was good for America. Who do you think "autopen" really was? Obama told anyone with ears to hear - right out in the open. Do you remember?

I've never seen any thoughts from you as to WHO might really be pulling the strings behind presidents. Surely you know by now, that most presidents are essentially in a gin-trap?

Did Obama's empty oratory blind you to the stupidity of voting him in? What about Churchill? Do you think his oratory was actually what the public wanted?

Do you think either of the Bush's were any better?

Do you HONESTLY think that the votes of people realllllllly make a difference, and that the real powers that be, don't have a drop down menu of Plan B -Z with fractions in between?

Because if you do think who you vote makes a difference, then watch this, because the breadth of planning for this, tells you that there are indeed invisible hand, treating us all as designated chess players to be moved by them. If watching this doesn't give you a dose of the mental squits, then nothing will:

And if you had any real biblical nouse, the person you should be watching closely and analysying, and fingering, isn't Trump. It's Jared Kushner, because more and more, he is the unelected "administration" that is the person pulling the world into disaster. Or are you too scared to go there?

And if you can't see that he is a core cog in the string puller's wheels, they you are as blind as the public you are ruthlessly excoriating with such great ease.

Reminds me of these lines from Laurence of Arabia:

"Young men make wars, and the virtues of war are the virtues of young men – courage and hope for the future. Then old men make the peace, and the vices of peace are the vices of old men – mistrust and caution. It must be so."

I have to say the world currently has the worst leaders, as a group, of anyone I can find in history. Putin may be the smartest leader among them all. Alas, the prediction that Western Powers will fail shortly seems to be coming to pass.

Unfortunately, Trump is acting more and more like King L as he definitely surrounded himself with sycophants. He even once asked if he could fire Vance because he disagreed with him

He's part of the corruption, but at least Biden (before his stammering decline and falling down) had demonstrable intelligence and knowledge of our government workings. The current one never did possess the minutest exhibition of intellect whatsoever. One would never guess that he even attended college let alone graduated from one. Aside from all the others in power that fit the "old men" dilemma, this one stated what he was from the start. Since John brought up the snake analogy, have you read that snake poem he campaigned with? Go read it. Doesn't really apply to the illegals.

You’d do way better understanding the landscape by researching exactly who, among current and recent leaders, are graduates of the WEF Young Leaders Program. Do names like Merkel, Gates, Trudeau, Macron, B Johnson, Putin (May have dropped out), and of course Newsom ring a bell? A link to an annual list of key political graduates was posted somewhere on X several years back for concerns about who is brainwashed vs bought, sometimes both!

and we've all seen ignorant children, regardless of age, never grow up, and throw their ignorance around believing they know it all. we see it all the time: they are rude, behaving like little heathens, and sincere about it. a fool is a fool, and age has nothing to do with that. True wisdom rarely comes to the ignorant or foolish. As God says, some day, we will have babes rule over us (Isa 3:4). And if we keep pushing how awful wise/aged men are, we only encourage that. Maybe, that's exactly what Father knew and told the wise. Now, certain infirmities will come to aged folks, but I've had the displeasure of seeing that in close family members, and it's obvious.

Gollums outsides coming to match its insides is just a matter of time … but gollums were always gollums.

Another fine observation John. I do enjoy the metaphoric constructs that you sometimes employ to lead us to the point you are making. To my way of thinking, I trace the control of events back to NY attorney Stanley Untermeyer, who with an unlimited supply of financial support, got his hands on the salacious letters exchanged between pompous academic - Woodrow Wilson and his secret mistress. This allowed him to place into motion a mechanism that traces its roots back to the Talmud - namely, compromise your target and then bring him to power, thus avoiding messy confrontations while he is in power since you already own him. Within 5 years Wilson went from scholar, to University President to Governor to US President. In that position, he gave the Warburgs, Schiffs and Rothschilds the Federal Reserve, he also gave them the Income Tax so that they might kill-off all contenders and finally, he gave them the US military in WWI, so as to protect their massive loans to the puppets running France and England. After that they could control any events they wanted whenever they wanted - the credit contraction that initiated the Great Depression, being just a small example. By the 1950s they could move into the CIA with the help of James Jesus Angleton, eliminate Nixon with a cleverly disguised media scandal, elevate Bush since they never got full control of Reagan, buy-off Clinton with Mena Airport drug money and by the time it came to engage the 9/11 plan, they really didn't care who won the Presidency because neither candidate had an IQ above 90. By 2008 they could completely fabricate a President by design using whole cloth and styrofoam and by 2016....they owned everybody in DC with cash and a pimp named Epstein.
