Government is “we the people”…neglect of that is the problem. The problem is in the mirror. Has been for a number of generations. The Constitution or rule of law hung in the balance in 1940’s. The sole remaining thread in 1976 was the franchise or right to vote. In the decades since Dominion, an elections solution’s company, has taken the reins. We could get it back if we weren’t so divided and without principles and morals.
Time after time through history once great societies have been destroyed by the militarism and fiscal recklessness of pathological control freaks who inevitably insinuate their way into positions of power in central government. I for one don't think Trump suffers such pathology, he seemed genuinely concerned about the wellbeing of the American people during his first term, but he is certainly proving susceptible to manipulation by control freaks in DC and abroad now.

Forget about the moral implications of war for a minute and look at the economic effects. These wars, these stupid, endless wars, will destroy America. We have a 40+ trillion in national debt, half of which was caused by wars. Interest on that 40 trillion now costs more each year than we pay for defense. We have yet to pay for WWI; we still pay interest because of our involvement in that European war. The unelected Neocons, the politicians, the presidents don't care. They never stop and say, maybe this war is too expensive, or we really don't have the money for this. Hell, they never say, won't this kill young Americans? Their families never fight. You need to understand that none of these people in DC care about your money, and certainly not about your life and your family's. They don't care what wars do to the economy, or energy prices, or groceries. At a minimum, they are sociopaths, if not psychopaths. Only politicians start wars; the average person wants to live in peace. Why do we let them get away with starting endless wars over and over again?
