Best way I can describe it is I've had ONE patient in my whole chiropractic career (which is over 20+ years) who said "I'm angry!" the second time I saw him. I was taken aback at first, but not for long. Why was he angry? It turns out he was angry because he didn't know chiropractic could help his problems so much, and that it had been out there all this time, and he had NEVER, NOT ONCE, been told by anyone else, but especially not by his doctor, that it could help. He was already feeling so much better after just one treatment! And it dawned on him - no, it slammed him in the face - that he had been DENIED this care. Care that helped. Naturally.
Now, lots of people have had chiropractic care from me, for the first time ever, and been very pleased with the results, but he was the only one who told me he was angry. He was the only one who truly felt LIED TO by the medical profession in such a full-on way. And that's what needs to happen if people are to shift their ground.
But most patients just take their chiropractic care with a grain of salt: "Oh, that helped, that's good". They are not truly aware of what truth they have been DENIED most of their lives, no matter what they have been helped with, what's been discussed etc.

As a retired veterinarian, I find measles a fascinating illness, arriving as it did from the cattle disease Rhinderpest and only getting a toe hold in the human population at the time of the development of large cities such as Ninevah and Babylon, and later, the metropolises of ancient Rome (these were all cities large enough to permit the measles to circulate and re-infect each new generation of humans, becoming fully adapted to humans over a period of hundreds of years). Measles very probably afflicted NInevah and the Assyrian empire and stopped its conquest of Palestine under King Hezekiah. Measles (or possibly a Rhinderpest-measles intergrade) quite likely killed Charlemagne's eldest son, thus preventing the power and efficiency of the Charlemagne empire.
This, of course, is an interesting conjecture, and you should never headline epidemiology as though it were all cut and dried.
A thought experiment
Suppose the whole of the USA were not vaccinated for one or two generations. We would reset to a time where 99% of the towns and cities would have regular circulation lf measles with minimal ill effects (it would be like the Brady Bunch Kids: "Goody! A Few Days Off School!").
This is natural herd immunity, sufficient to keep those 99% of towns safe from serious ill effects. (Herd immunity can occur with measles and some other viral infections, but not all—and note that it can be defined in different ways—epidemiology is a highly nuanced scientific endeavor).
However, there will be a few highly isolated communities with zero herd immunity, and when the measles arrives, the babies under two with no immunity transfer from their mothers will be vulnerable. Add in malnutrition (low vitamin A), and babies under two (the vulnerable group)—some of them will die without treatment.
In this scenario, America would have zero measles vaccine deaths and potentially quite a few measles deaths.
Just to be clear, I'm 100% pro-choice, advocating informed consent that advises risks, benefits, **and alternatives**. There are very good alternatives to MMR vaccine in modern medicine.

There is an old technology of HNIG (human normal immunoglobulin) that is highly effective when given within a few hours of infection that prevents serious illness in babies under two years of age. And there are modern monoclonal antibody treatments in development (similar to HNIG), which I expect would be even more effective.

Of course, vitamin A is a good help for the newborns despite what the vaccine faith faction preaches.

And there is a measles-only vaccine (instead of the three-in-one MMR).

And we need genetic pretesting and prevaccination clinical triage. Assuming the parents are willing, we shouldn't give MMR to premature babies and should delay the shots in bottle-fed babies, both of which have insufficient reserves of plasmalogens in their developing brains to withstand the inflammatory consequences of the artificial infection that we call vaccination.
All the above should be normal procedure, with nobody but the parents making the purchase decision. No fuss. No tyranny. No vicious factional politics. The same rules that apply to the purchase of other consumer goods should apply to vaccinations.

Jenner's devotion to injecting people with preparation containing cow puss &/or a number of other substances was, perhaps INTENDED to protect people from smallpox. It's a leap to claim it was /designed/ to do so.

"Dissolving Illusions" is one of the best books out there - got it in 2019 as the charade was just beginning. I beleive it is superior to "Turtles All the Way Down," but both provided a great leap forward. Thank you for the link. I had no idea.

As a retired veterinarian, I find measles a fascinating illness, arriving as it did from the cattle disease Rhinderpest and only getting a toe hold in the human population at the time of the development of large cities such as Ninevah and Babylon, and later, the metropolises of ancient Rome (these were all cities large enough to permit the measles to circulate and re-infect each new generation of humans, becoming fully adapted to humans over a period of hundreds of years). Measles very probably afflicted NInevah and the Assyrian empire and stopped its conquest of Palestine under King Hezekiah. Measles (or possibly a Rhinderpest-measles intergrade) quite likely killed Charlemagne's eldest son, thus preventing the power and efficiency of the Charlemagne empire.

This, of course, is an interesting conjecture, and you should never headline epidemiology as though it were all cut and dried.
A thought experiment
Suppose the whole of the USA were not vaccinated for one or two generations. We would reset to a time where 99% of the towns and cities would have regular circulation lf measles with minimal ill effects (it would be like the Brady Bunch Kids: "Goody! A Few Days Off School!").
This is natural herd immunity, sufficient to keep those 99% of towns safe from serious ill effects. (Herd immunity can occur with measles and some other viral infections, but not all—and note that it can be defined in different ways—epidemiology is a highly nuanced scientific endeavor).
However, there will be a few highly isolated communities with zero herd immunity, and when the measles arrives, the babies under two with no immunity transfer from their mothers will be vulnerable. Add in malnutrition (low vitamin A), and babies under two (the vulnerable group)—some of them will die without treatment.
In this scenario, America would have zero measles vaccine deaths and potentially quite a few measles deaths.
Just to be clear, I'm 100% pro-choice, advocating informed consent that advises risks, benefits, **and alternatives**. There are very good alternatives to MMR vaccine in modern medicine.

There is an old technology of HNIG (human normal immunoglobulin) that is highly effective when given within a few hours of infection that prevents serious illness in babies under two years of age. And there are modern monoclonal antibody treatments in development (similar to HNIG), which I expect would be even more effective.

Of course, vitamin A is a good help for the newborns despite what the vaccine faith faction preaches.
3.
And there is a measles-only vaccine (instead of the three-in-one MMR).

And we need genetic pretesting and prevaccination clinical triage. Assuming the parents are willing, we shouldn't give MMR to premature babies and should delay the shots in bottle-fed babies, both of which have insufficient reserves of plasmalogens in their developing brains to withstand the inflammatory consequences of the artificial infection that we call vaccination.
All the above should be normal procedure, with nobody but the parents making the purchase decision. No fuss. No tyranny. No vicious factional politics. The same rules that apply to the purchase of other consumer goods should apply to vaccinations.
