They actually ARE technically "banned" as in you can't buy them as a grown commercial product. You can however buy the spores and grow them yourself (as I have done as I enjoy a nice mild mushroom trip occasionally) quite easily and legally. Amazing! My father died in February of advanced Alzheimer disease. My mother died of Parkinson's disease a year earlier. Awful diseases!!! Thankfully they were able to live together, even in the nursing home up until my mother died in 2024. My dad lost his mind, and my mother lost her body. They worked well together up until the end when they had to go into a nursing home. They were both 87 when they died.
I am sure that big pharma will hide this study as they cannot patent nature. Instead, they will try to mimic nature and come up with a replica that will not work as you cannot compete with mother nature.

Please take care with mushrooms. Learn the species and proper cultivating. You can get really sick.. or poisoned.
