I have been hearing similar for a couple of years now. Is it chicken or egg? Does the low bacteria level depresse the immune system and encourage cancer? Or does the cancer somehow destroy the good bacteria? What can we as regular people do to increase the burden of good bacteria? I keep reading about fermented foods and I try to eat some regularly. But my husband who has been battling aggressive cancer for the past year and a half absolutely refuses to eat any of the good fermented foods. It's a conundrum but he's actually in remission now using both conventional toxic treatments and Ivermectin and mebendazole. I certainly hope this matter gets looked into much deeper. I know the early people who talked about this were scoffed at

Mebendazole is getting excellent reports! (Dr. Nicolosi’s book is now on Amazon. Title:”Is Cancer Actually Caused by Parasites?”)

Canute's avatar

Indeed.....look into the amazing success people are having with Fenbendazole.....pick it up at Tractor Supply.

I wonder what Coca Cola does to gut bacteria...? Pepsi Mountain Dew... Code Red... Never heard of cancer killing bacteria, however put some bacteria in a petri with some Coke and let's see what happens;-)

Dr. Hazan also discovered that Bifidobacterium was low or absent in all those that had Covid. She found that those with high Bifidobacterium did not get Covid. Dr. Thomas Seyfried believes in low glucose to control cancer. This video is quite interesting as are many of the comments: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaVC3PAWqLk&t=1s All the best in controlling your husband's cancer.

Good one. Thanks for sharing. I think she has to be listened to. The way she was treated during Covid was criminal.

You're absolutely right. One interpretation is the boustrophedon interpretation (like the ox plowing the field, or like the way prayers speak of heaven and earth, above and below). If good health is represented by a certain microbiome (as above, so below), poor health also has its own representation. By attacking in a multicentric way (starting from above and below), you have a greater chance of success. Even the aversion to healthy foods is a well-known process. We are irresistibly drawn to what is bad for us. In fact, I've used it as a basic rule for years. Am I irresistibly drawn to a certain food? I'd immediately go and find out, and you'd consequently stop craving it. Your husband, with his serious illness, is in a vortex of destruction. Unfortunately, he's drawn to whatever spontaneously increases this vortex.

Someone some months back wrote an excellent article on substance saying that by taking a gram at a time of vitamin C the body can only use half a gram and the other half a gram ends up in the bowel and feeds the Bifidobacterium. There is a bacteria in natto that either compete with or eliminate the fungal organism that causes cancer.

The study does not say, if the cancer patients were being treated with chemo. That, alone, would decimate intestinal bacteria.

When are they going to admit cancer is a serious metabolic dis regulation?

Trying hard's avatar

I absolutely agree about the toxicity of chemo to basically everything. I often wonder if the people who make it through chemo survived despite the chemo instead of because of the chemo. It is so toxic. I was given a biohazard kit to put on if my husband's portable chemo pump spilled at our house and I had to clean it up. Yet they are pumping it into his body!

Canute's avatar

Most of the actions of chemo drugs have nothing to do with addressing the growth of cancer cells. Worse yet - they've known this for several decades now.

Read Mark Sloans book, Cancer The Metabolic Disease. On point as usual.

Would be nice when you publish something like this is to get into the causes, which is what matters. An 82% reduction in Bifidobacterium is not the deepest question. The deeper question is: what destroyed the biological terrain that allows beneficial bacteria to thrive in the first place? Gut bacteria don't exist independently of human physiology. Diet, chronic inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, environmental toxins, nutrient deficiencies, antibiotics, and a damaged intestinal barrier all shape the microbiome. Cancer may alter the microbiome, but a profoundly disturbed microbiome may also reflect a profoundly disturbed physiology. Instead of asking how to replace one missing bacterium, we should be asking how to restore the internal environment that naturally supports a healthy microbial ecosystem. The terrain always comes first.

Linda's avatar

My question is - is the damage to the microbiome in these people from chemotherapy, radiation or antibiotics from cancer treatment? In other words, did the treatment cause the damage and not the cancer?

I think this finding will prove to be one of the most important keystones of medical science. Thank you for reporting on it, Nicholas!

In 1976. I developed a rapidly growing tumor and two doctors told me that they would not offer me any guarantees, unless it was removed immediately. Well, I had been into health and nutrition research for 15 years at that time...and I also happen to believe very strongly in the Creator. I told the second doctor who pushed his treatment that I was going to go home and pray. He said, "Don't pray, too long." Well, I prayed and in a day or so a book came into my hands on raw fruit and vegetables by Dr. N.W. Walker. I felt this was the answer I had prayed for. I had been eating a lot of raw fruit and vegetables previously, but I had gone to a nutritonal doctor who told me that i needed to eat a lot of diary, because I was expecting a child and going to nurse. I added the dairy to my foods. So, I stopped the dairy...and stayed with the fruit and vegetables. In less than three months the vaginal tumor disappeared. In 1988, twelve years later, I developed another ugly bulbous growth with spikes coming out of it right above my right breast. My children were horrified and told me to have it cut off immediately. I didn't even bother going to a doctor. I examined what I was eating and discovered I was going through a lot of honey daily in my many cups of herb tea. So, I stopped the honey. In less than three months, this ugly growth disappeared. I learned that if you don't feed a tumor, it won.t grow; nothing grows without some sort of fuel. It has been 38 years, since I got rid of the tumor and no more problems. I am ultra careful of my diet and primarily eat unprocessed produce; and a limited amount of protein. Excess protein, fat and carbs contribute to the growth of tumors.

Barbara Charis's avatar

Carbs, such as, honey and sugar, plus processed grains have lots of carbs, too. I have avoided grains for years. Every time I ate any, i gained weight. Today, I am my perfect weight.

More to it. Man is the only animal that do not live on raw foods

Barbara Charis's avatar

You are so right! Mankind does not think how it survived from the beginning ...without the means to destroy the value of food by cooking it. Its all about the taste buds and nothing about the nutrients in the food, which produce good health.

Hmmm - and the unsaid part is that 💉 targets the healthy bacterium in the gut for autoimmune destruction.

I know several people just in my small circles who were 💉 and ended up with severe gut issues and diarrhoea much like C-difficile takeover symptoms and ended up hospitalized and tested with extremely low levels of Bifidus bacterium!

This is a very significant substack post by Nicolas Hulscher MPH. As I see cancer incidence rising in my Regenerative medical practice I have also seen bowel problems increasing in incidence. The medical healers of old have been proven correct time and time again when they related the observation “All disease begins in the gut”. We have seen this bacteria - Bifidobacterium scarcity I will call it, associated with many diseases. Including Covid illness that was much more serious in those who had low numbers of Bifidobacterium. Now it is cancer. I am not surprised but very grateful that this has been revealed through scientific study.

Has anyone measured the positive preventive effects from consuming fermented foods (especially kombucha, sauerkraut, kimchee?)

I’d love to learn what produces the very best intestinal microbiome.

RoseMartyn's avatar

Check out the Weston Price website. Lots of info there.

R.L. Mac… very important step in gut health is fermented foods …once your gut flora has good flora like bifida …,this then goes on to Butyrate ….end result is Akermansia …Dr. Hazan, I believe tests gut flora, but don’t have the link.

David Kukkee's avatar

I understand that the "vaccines" knock out bifida. Dr. Sabine Hazan is a very interesting and talented researcher, and has done great service for humanity with her work, especially during "Covid". Thank you for mentioning her work, Nicolas.

How do you increase beneficial gut bacteria?

JanC1955's avatar

Fermented foods and probiotic supplements, as far as I know. Unfortunately, the probiotic market is absolutely saturated, so it's nearly impossible for a lay person to determine which product might be best for them. I tend to stick with Dr. Mercola's probiotic for women, and alternate with Life Extension's FLORASSIST Probiotic GI.

Gary's avatar

And refusing antibacterial medication. I remember a day when if you got the slightest little cold, the doctors put you on an antibacterial.

Laura Teasley's avatar

I wonder though if the more aggressive forms had been using standard chemo drugs that contributed to the loss of helpful gut microbes? Was this study done prior to treatments?

Study is a quick read........."Analyses were not adjusted for comorbidities, lifestyle factors such as diet or exercise, treatment and/or medications taken. "

we can discuss for ever. the origina of these injections is patented DARPA since 2015 and considered as a bio weapon reducing the immunity system by mRNA changing the transcriptase of DNA cells to disabe T lymphocytes, charged to clean the blood from dead cells and give the right environment to regenerate cells

I am a Plant-Based Nutritionist and a physician. It has been known for some time that a high plant fiber diet (>35grams each day) feeds the very bacteria which prevent inflamitory bowel changes and are associated with a lower risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and many cancers- particularlt colorectal cancer. [The average consumtion of fiber on the standard Anarican diet is 13 grams per day.] This effect is mediated in two ways.

1. The 'good bacteria' - like bifidobacterium- are encouraged to grow in the presence of food they prefer (fiber) and in turn produce antioxdant Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFA)- like butyrate- which are anti-inflamitory.

2. A high fat, amimal sourced diet devoid of sufficient living plant fiber stimulates the growth of pro-inflamitory bacteria which in turn process TMA from eaten animal food sources resulting in highly inflamatory cytokines like TMAO. This in turn inflames the bowal, and when absorbed systemically increases the likelhood of life threatening chronic diseases including cancers.

And we know from Ms. Hazan that the Covid genetic injections wipe out the Bifidobacterium.

I seem to recall a study that showed Polish women who consumed traditionally fermented sauerkraut ie NOT vinegar preserved kind in the store, had a dramatically lower rates of breast cancer than their counterparts in the US who had stopped preserving cabbage via traditional methods.

Could it be that consuming appropriately fermented foods that contain live bacterias really do prevent cancer?
