Excellent quantification, but we pretty much already knew! Also, it’s safe to say that personality disorder is a given in 99% who seek power or public office.

Read Dereliction of Duty by Lt. Col. Robert "Buzz" Patterson who lived in the White House for two years as an aide to William Jefferson Clinton. Clinton was very careless with the nuclear codes. It seems that he kept the nuclear codes in his wallet, which he was always misplacing. Clinton put pleasure before business. He would not answer several extremely important phone calls, on the day that planes were sitting on the tarmac ready to take off and go after Osama Bin Laden, because he was too busy watching a Tiger Woods tournament. Clinton obviously was into the use of drugs and it affected his thinking.

Declining health comes with age. So does wisdom. Somehow these old folks managed to avoid blowing the world up. Probably because they weren’t young hotheads.

As an undergrad at San Francisco State University, I had considered minoring in Global Peace Studies. In that track, I studied constitutional and international law with Ann Fagan Ginger, Professor Emeritus of the Meiklejohn Civil Liberties Institute. In the International Law class taught by Ginger, I read, "Nuclear weapons are illegal: the historic opinion of the World Court and how it will be enforced" cover to cover. Even with the dissenting opinions of many judges, the findings were unanimous. By the very nature of these weapons, they violate international law, and the laws of war (and I would add the laws of nature and creation).

I think the book is well worth reading by everyone... https://archive.org/details/nuclearweaponsar00annf

The only nation states to disarm their nuclear arsenals were Ukraine and S. Africa before the opinion was published. None of the nation states presently with them have done so, which means they are all in violation of the treaties they have signed and ratified, simply with the "threat of use of force." As such, any nation states that have not disarmed have zero moral authority in international affairs.

At the very least, their refusal to honor the International Court of Justice's unanimous opinion and recommendation means that each nation state is in contempt and, as such, they should not have veto power in the Security Council, IMHO.

At this juncture, what's the point of laws at all if they can so blatantly be ignored? Nations are in violation of all manner of human rights laws and aren't being held liable.

Shame on all of the people who've made this a reality and perpetuate it. It's absolutely insane, but so are a lot of other things people are doing under the guise of "security", which I would argue, make us less secure in the grand scheme of things.

From my viewpoint, most politicians use their public service as a career path, that grant kickbacks and insider trading and special interest money corrupts the original intent of them running to begin with! When they campaign that Fair food, fast food and vaccines do them in! We rent to lady that follows COVID data and RSV. She says both are real high right now, which is mid summer. VAIDS or immune suppression is clearly on the rise! Many of these politicians are not all that smart to begin with! Self promotion is their goal!

Not surprised at all. We know that Kennedy was on enough meds to kill an elephant, and Biden’s brain was/is mush. The Soviet Union…I think communism is on the DSM as a psychotic disorder, North Korea has never had a sane, coherent leader, China- we already addressed commies are psycho, Pakistan is full of crazies so why would their leaders be any different? And that leaves Israel and just because they believe that most of the world is literally “out to get” them, doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t so….😉🤭

Thanks. Of course 99% are basically power-crazed psychological basket-cases with strictly limited intellect and strong totalitarian tendencies, all hell-bent on preserving their personal wealth, power and status. It's a classic case of anyone wanting the job should automatically be disqualified.

Why you talking in the past tense? It’s still there! Still happening. Nearly every politician in positions of leadership is a psychopath, sociopath or both. Sickos at the top! Very scary indeed.

Considering how much the Press hated Nixon, I would have thought that, if he had an “intoxication” problem, we would have heard about it back then. This is the first time I’m hearing about it. Indeed, some past and present world “leaders” have well documented medical diagnoses, I don’t put a lot of weight on this article. It’s not what I would expect from the McCullough group.
