Not surprising. He looks creepy. I have never felt comfortable looking at his picture.

I remember the first time I saw Harvey Weinstein and I said to myself, what a fat f'k piece of crap. My inner voice said, you should not be so judgemental, you don't know this man or anything about him. Boy, did I eventually feel vindicated when the truth came out. Now, comes Peter Hotez, and when I first learned about him I said, what a disgusting, greedy, ignorant piece of sh*t this little man was and his giant amoral ego. But this time the voice telling me I was being judgemental wasn't there. I hate being right.

This allegation should be fully investigated. Usually it is done out of the public domain so we might never get the details. It would not surprise me if it turns out to be true. This is a man that is part of the “big club” and a tool of big pharmaceutical interests. This type of behavior is par for the course with these type of people. Still he deserves the benefit of a full and impartial investigation. Maybe this is the thing that will finally bring him down.

I just love this.

What a little squirrel.

A real bench scientist should know how to build a strong case against a troll like Hotez. He won't come off as credible or sympathetic.

This wretch dubbed "vaccine hesitancy" as "anti-science aggression".

Now they saying the same about people who don't want "AI" data centers wrecking their neighborhoods, societies, water, and electricity.

First rule of thumb: never-ever trust anyone who wears a bowtie—they are overtly telling you straight-up that they are clowns and decievers.

Ridiculously flippant comment about bow ties. My bow-tied doctor saved my life.

TriTorch's avatar

Woth respect, he should probably change it. Bowties signal “showbuisness” meaning a performance. This is an adage I’ve known for decades.

No, one of the best pediatric professors and best human beings I ever knew was a doctor who wore a bow-tie. The bow-tie allows a medical professional to wear a tie, and thus to be dressed in a professional manner, while not having a long tie to get in the way if one is trying to change a dressing or do a procedure. He always dressed professionally, and wore a white coat, but a bow tie which doesn't get in the way when you are doing patient care. He was a cancer doctor and was the kindest and most ethical man you would ever meet. No longer living, but a very good man and a very good physician. He mentored many students and residents, and was loved by all this patients.

Whatever you say, TriTorch aka "know-it-all." Pfft.

Yikes Ok…. The stigma of the bow tie is real, old,and well documented:

The Origins and History of the Bow Tie Distrust

Pinpointing the exact origin of the “never trust a man in a bow tie” quote is challenging, as it belongs to the realm of oral tradition and anecdote. Its roots likely intertwine with the bow tie’s evolution from a functional neckcloth for 17th-century Croatian mercenaries to a symbol of intellectualism, eccentricity, and formality.

In the 20th century, the bow tie became associated with specific archetypes: the absent-minded professor, the slick politician, the mischievous magician, and the dandy. Each of these figures, in the public imagination, could be perceived as using intellect or charm to obscure true motives. The quote seems to have gained significant traction in American political discourse, often used as a cynical jab at politicians perceived as overly polished, evasive, or intellectual in a deceptive way. It’s a phrase that encapsulates a certain populist skepticism toward elitism and performative sophistication.

the Nazis were scumbag perverts and the communists were even worse. Since Peter Hotez falls in with the most satanic lying monsters in history, it highly likely he is guilty as sin.

But hey, for the sake of legal reasons, lets say innocent until proven guilty

I listened to him on Peter Attia’s podcast a few years ago. I wonder if he’s in the Epstein files too. Truth always reveals itself
