I think this is a scientific domain best left untouched.

Hubristic science's most important lesson - which it never seems to learn - is just that: the fact that you can does not mean that you should. And, sadly, when they do, they seldom are burdened with the consequences of monstrous decisions.

It’s eugenics. Check Project Warhound. The people Trump put in charge are highly involved in experimental projects involving man, animals and the environment. The possibilities are endless they believe.

Time to write. Whitrhouse.gov and let the president know what you think .People need to bombard our representatives..and let them know we are aware that hey are not serving us...They are serving themselves. Sign up for Numbers USA...It sends daily messages to our representatives, too.

What is the DNA the scientists used modeled after-- human, snail, bacteria DNA? Have others replicated this yet? We do not yet have the developed and evolved morales and ethics (I mean the good kind, not the kind that gives a pass to anything globalists want) to be dabbling in creating life forms. Hard pass! ~ Ginger Breggin

Point of Order, first cane a higher intelligence to create these. It is impossible for coherent order to comd from random chaos first. Without ordered coherent intelligence to discriminate between the two. Any permutation of ordered coherence would be irrelevant without first starting with higher intelligence.

This is disordered use of free will. Without higher superior Divine Intelligence morals and ethics.

Pull out the rug from under them and their costly and worthless research. What good does it do humanity?

The National Science Foundation is involved in this endeavor: NSF grants 2338121 and 2419641. Listed under the Funder Information Declared section at the end of the cited paper. That would mean taxpayer money is involved, since the NSF is funded by Congress. The NSF is an "independent" federal government agency.

So…scientists created matter out of nothing? Nope! NEWS FLASH—they are not God!

Man is trying to create life outside the natural order! Man is not God. God will not take this lightly. Man has now gone far, far beyond the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah. Bring on the fire falling from the sky.

Arent ribosomes the results of ancient bacteria being absorbed by eukaryotes? So I dont think they can say that they started with all artificial materials. Maybe the "heart" of cells is the ribosome.
