I laughed too. The absurdity of it. I believe he knows exactly what he's doing. I imagine him turning to his son and saying: "Watch the lefties lose it now" with a chuckle. A couple of minutes later he would hardly have given it another thought while it made the rounds on substacks and podcasts and outraged lefties losing sleep over it.

evergreen's avatar

Lefties are always in the bag. It's when his own "supporters" fail at mirth and tip over in outrage that he has to pull it down with a sigh. Trump doesn't take himself too seriously.

That's something others can learn to do, too.

Daniel Wirt's avatar

“Trump doesn’t take himself too seriously”? Lame fantasy, out of touch with reality, crystalline denial and rationalization (major features of Trump Delusional/Dead-ender Syndrome). Trump is a quintessential narcissist - a malignant narcissist, who has proven over and over that he cares only about his image. And you say “pull it down”? Do you actually think that the Democrats will not use this sort of thing to damage MAGA/MIGA in the future? Are you really that brain dead?

Flash Gordon's avatar

They are, indeed, dealing with the same levels of cope that the left dealt with during Biden and Harris. At this point, people supporting Trump operate much like AI does. There is virtually no long-term memory, no aggregate context, no logical consistency and frequent hallucination. Each Trump statement, deflection and inaction is dealt with in a vacuum, not as a part of one, long character-building narrative. Trump v2 is not even compared to Trump v1 by the die-hards anymore because if he were it would be obvious that the man has fallen off a cliff.

Whereas he always was an opportunist and 90s liberal at heart, he did have the cognitive awareness to restrain his urges to constantly stroke his ego. That has clearly broken down, now. Even when the GOP gets completely decimated in the mid-terms they will cope by blaming the media, blaming the rest of society for being "stupid", etc. Very predictable. Notice how they have moved the window from "Trump is trolling the left" to "Trump is trolling the left but the right is falling for it, too." That's how cope works but not politics. Everything you do in politics should add votes, not remove them. It would not be hard to build up the MAGA base if he did MAGA things, the things he promised on the campaign trail. His support is not disintegrating because he's "on point". Quite the opposite.

Daniel Wirt's avatar

You must think that offending 1.4 billion Catholics (many of whom are quite right wing) is some brilliant chess move by a master performer playing the role of an unstable malignant narcissist psychopath starting a war of aggression on false pretenses at the behest of a demonic Zionist and Secretary HairGel, unconcerned by the death of 160+ children on the opening day of his performance. Brilliant…

Ness's avatar

I'm a practicing Catholic, as is Trump's wife. It doesn't mean I've lost my sense of humour. The Catholic vote was probably what got Trump over the line, and he was very aware of that and acknowledged it. He's not doing this to antagonise Catholics.

Daniel Wirt's avatar

This goes way past “humour”. Trump is stupid if he thinks that this bulldust won’t hurt him with his base among Catholics. This is just a continuation of Trump’s political suicide.

Taming the Wolf Institute's avatar

Suicide is when you off yourself. Homicide is when others do the nasty deed. The Zionists have no further use for Trump. They have had control of the MIC for a long time... he was just a hurdle they had to surmount. And now they are on their way to pulling off the palace coup. Let us hope Trump truly gets it and turns the tables soon.

Never thought I'd agree with Nick Fuentes on anything, but he made your same point on X:

"Good luck to Trump and the GOP without Catholics, Muslims, anti-war voters, fiscal hawks, immigration hawks, prospective home-buyers, anybody who wanted the Epstein Files, anybody who watches Tucker, Alex Jones, Megyn Kelly, & Candace.

"But hey at least they’re popular in Israel."

Really, all his advisors? do tell.

The current White House Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, has significant historical and professional ties to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, primarily through her role as a key campaign adviser for both Donald Trump and Netanyahu's.

Direct Connectionss:

Netanyahu’s 2020 Campaign: In early 2020, Susie Wiles and other members of Trump’s "A-team"—including Corey Lewandowski and Tony Fabrizio—deployed to Jerusalem to help Netanyahu's Likud party with his bid to remain Prime Ministers.

Campaign Strategy:

They operated from a conference room in the Leonardo Plaza hotel, where they were credited with transforming Netanyahu’s campaign events into "Trump-style rallies" featuring loud music and a centralized spotlight on the leaders.

Professional Relationship:

Senior White House officials have described Wiles and Netanyahu as being on a "friend basis" regarding foreign leader relations.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/06/23/trump-netanyahu-wiles-campaign/

John Guy's avatar

The connection between the Trump family and Benjamin Netanyahu dates back to the mid-1980s, when Netanyahu served as the Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations in Manhattan.

Fred Trump (The Father): During the 1980s, Fred Trump befriended Netanyahu while the latter was stationed at the UN. Fred Trump was known for his support of Jewish causes, even donating land for a synagogue led by Rabbi Israel Wagner. Netanyahu has reportedly stated that his warm relationship with Donald Trump originated with his father, Fred.

Donald Trump (The Son): Donald Trump’s friendship with Netanyahu also began during this period as their circles in New York business, media, and politics overlapped. By 2001, their bond was public enough that Trump appeared in a campaign ad for Netanyahu, and Netanyahu later attended Trump’s wedding to Melania in 2005.

******************

The Kushner family, specifically Charles Kushner and his son Jared Kushner (Donald Trump's son-in-law). They serve as a secondary, deep-rooted link between the Trumps and Netanyahu:

Family Sleepovers: Netanyahu has a long-standing personal relationship with the Kushner family. He famously stayed at their home in New Jersey when Jared was a child, even sleeping in Jared's bedroom while the young Kushner moved to the basements.

Business and Political Support: Charles Kushner was a significant political donor for Netanyahu. One legal dispute involving Charles's brother, Murray, even alleged that Charles had used family business funds to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in speaking fees to Netanyahu.

Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential transition and incoming 2025 administration feature several Jewish American advisors, including key figures like Howard Lutnick, Stephen Miller, David Friedman, and Steve Witkoff.

These advisors span roles in policy, finance, and diplomacy, with a focus on immigration, Middle East relations, and loyalty to Trump's "America First" agenda.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump

Key Jewish American associates in Trump's circle (as of Nov 2024):

Stephen Miller: Appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, returning for a second term as a hardline immigration advisor.

Howard Lutnick: Billionaire CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, serving as co-chair of the 2024 transition team.

David Friedman: Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel during the first term.

Steve Witkoff: Real estate investor, chosen as a Middle East envoy.

Boris Epshteyn: A longtime aide and political strategist to Trump.

Elizabeth Pipko: A leading Jewish surrogate and GOP spokesperson.

Marcus Rowan: Private equity executive.

These individuals represent a mixture of long-term confidants, family connections, and policy experts focused on strengthening ties between the U.S. and Israel, as well as influencing immigration and economic policy.

WTF!!! if you weren’t clearly so brainless, it would be endlessly offensive, but sadly, the brainless only deserve a little bit of sympathy so I pray for you and what little soul you might have in there

John Guy's avatar

All you have are grade school insults, not facts. Too bad for you.

DBC's avatar

Oh, you conveniently forget to mention that those school girls were there as a human shield.... that our intel didn't sort that out is unfortunate - this is what can happen when you use humans (school girls) as a shield.

Were you watching the news clips of Iran 7 days ago?

Did you see the women, dressed in black with their scarves on - circling their energy plants? --- as human shields.

Defend that and I suggest, you move to Iran. Take the women in your family with you, they can be forced to circle around installations, as ex-pat human shields. You'll be so proud, right?

Daniel Wirt's avatar

No, there is no evidence that those 160+ children were being used as “human shields”. This is just your denial and rationalization and apologetics for a horrific war crime. The whole chain of events has been laid out by military experts, and Trump and Secretary HairGel are at the top of that pile. The Iranian government did not force citizens to surround energy installations. This was a measure of popular support and solidarity for the government and their willingness for personal sacrifice. Resistance against an existential threat —- a war of aggression. Your comments are consistently evidence light, ANonnyMouse North Carolina Grandpa.

DBC's avatar

Actually, there is no evidence that 160 school girls were killed.... now is there.

So, you're saying the women are suicidal... OK, they sure do think differently over there, right? Maybe the school girls were the gifts of their mothers, to Allah.

Stay in Iran. Get in the circle around the around the plants... wave signs Orange Man Bad, Allah is great. Get blown up -- or ask your "leaders", to make peace. Your choice dumbfuck.

IMO, stop doing crack hours before you burp your spittle out on a public forum.

Daniel Wirt's avatar

No evidence that 160+ children were killed? You suffer from pathological levels of denial and rationalization, out of touch with reality (the most basic definition of insanity). Yes, “orange man” is a malignant narcissist, pathological liar, megalomaniac, psychopath who started a war of aggression on false pretenses at the behest of his Zionist overlord. He is a very stupid man who has committed political suicide. He is desperately trying to find a way out without losing face. Trump doesn’t care about anything other than his image. He certainly puts his image before the welfare of the United States and the U.S. Constitution. Your level of cope is extreme —- perfectly analogous to the cope of Biden supporters in the face of his obvious decline. Congratulations, you have something in common with Biden supporters. Indeed, you suffer from TDS, Grandpa (Trump Delusional/Dead-ender Syndrome - multi-drug resistant). One could only hope that your kids and grandkids are smarter than you.

Obviously he triggered you, Daniel. Maybe you shouldn’t take yourself too seriously with all your fancy pseudo intellectual terms you try to impress with people with I wonder if you were Catholic or if you even believe in a God or any kind of religion just asking not claiming you do or don’t, but you seemed outraged in your rainbow colored hair about everything related to Donald. I wonder if you’re that outraged by Jeff Jeffers and a bummer and Biden and Pelosi and every other fake religious Catholic out there oh yeah I’m a little pissed off at you. I’m a Catholic. I have a right to support or not. Jesus Christ was the Son of God, not a Hellenistic philosopher, John. The foundation for His life is found in the Old Testament, not in the musings of the Greeks.

Brad Parsons's avatar

Exactly. John got his history wrong on that one. Totally missed the part where Jesus traveled to India and Nepal in his 20's and actually has a closer connection to buddhism as Saint Issa than to Greek mythology.

Taming the Wolf Institute's avatar

The line of truth weaves through many traditions. The Holy Spirit has been at work throughout all time. One finds strong echoes of Buddhism in Christianity, and also in the basics of Platonic and NeoPlatonic philosophy.

Joewrite's avatar

I never read that about "Jesus". do you know if it's true?

Waiting......

Deborah's avatar

No, it's total replacement theology Bull Fecal Material! He came Only to His own, the Jews. Any time the heathen in India or China or North and South Pre Americas or Africa or Mongolia territories had any contact with the faith was many years AFTER Jesus' crucifixion and He sent the highly educated Jewish Apostle Paul to preach the Gospel to them.

Joewrite's avatar

I know it is hard to put up with this trash, but keep trying.

Messiah wants us to care for them and help them. Still, it does say not to cast our pearls to swine. They do tend to turn and rend one.

Daniel Wirt's avatar

You’re talking about one of the world’s greatest fantasy novels, right, Kerber?

Taming the Wolf Institute's avatar

Ah, no. Jesus repudiated the Old Testament. Said to the angry Pharisees, "Your nonsense is over. Old Covenant done. There is a new covenant. And a new understanding of the Divine. Tear down the temple and I will raise it again in three days. Done. New religion." (That is why they convicted him of blasphemy and carried out the sentence of Crucifixion.)

And much of that new religion aligned with Greek philosophy. Early theologians, such as Origen and Augustine, married Greek philosophy (namely Platonism and Neo-Platonism) with the faith. Only recently we had a brilliant theologian who recognized this early Patristic tradition, a theologian who renewed basic theology. Joseph Ratzinger, also called Benedict XVI.

So John Leake is way more correct than you seem to realize. And you can check out his good buddy, the Apostle Paul, for more on the subject.

I literally "laughed out loud" when I first saw the Trump the Messiah meme. What isn't humorous is that many nutty people truly believe that image.

AwakeNotWoke's avatar

Is it any wonder that he mocks and looks down on Christ and considers himself to be better than Christ? Purporting to be a Christian is handy for winning elections. However, there's not a lot of evidence that POTUS Trump spent very much time in a Christian church other than for weddings etc during his almost 80 years. I suspect he has spent a lot more time in Synagogues. He admits to studying Kabbalah, which was under a Rabbi.

Although he has circulated graven images of himself for those such as you to worship, what AI generated images of himself as the Prophet Mohammed has he circulated?

Can you explain why he mocks Christ but has never mocked the Prophet Mohammed?

Phil Davis's avatar

I can't. There's a lot about Trump that is a mystery. He promised a lot of things, only to break them later. I saw him as a speed bump to the other side's insanity; alas, we have a new insanity now in Trump.

Taming the Wolf Institute's avatar

Yes, because he is surrounded by Zionists, including wacky Christian Zionists. They hate Christianity, even though some pose as Christian pastors. Anyone can take one look at Paula White in the White House Faith Office and see immediately that he is being scammed.

Phil Davis's avatar

Still, he's supposed to be above the insanity. That's what he said. I'm beginning to wonder whether he's not what he presents himself to be.

Taming the Wolf Institute's avatar

So true. Something snapped after Charlie Kirk was assassinated. It was as if a message was sent, loud and clear, and he changed dramatically. Assassins may miss you, but when they start taking out friends and allies, a new mindset emerges.

Phil Davis's avatar

Could be. He's doing something again that I objected to in his first term. He doesn't focus on an issue to complete it. For instance, immigration. During his first term, if he had just fixed immigration, that would have sealed his legacy.

William's avatar

So yea, he's a rich prick from NYC that loves to bust the balls of the TDS'ers. They've (MSM/deep State) been lying about him for 10 years. His response boils down to revenge vs the liars.

In the meantime, he's got his own version of the NWO. If not for Trump, the woke WEF would grow stronger. Now they're the laughing stock for their attempt to control the planet.... the EU hopefully getting that message.... they'll really gert a message, if we dump Nato.

Trump's NWO is lasting peace - and his recent military actions, will end up with positive long term peace, imo. If that's the end game for him, and i think it is - his quirks, spew and bloviating, is all noise, to piss off TDS'ers. the TDS afflicted, can only cry to the sky.

I can only imagine that his handlers put him up to this insulting photo because not only is Trump blackmailed, compromised and controlled by Israel, but he also converted to Judaism in 2017.

The most likely explanation is not simply that this rude delusional geriatric 80-year-old did this because he thought it was funny, but rather his Jewish handlers instructed him to insult Christianity as a part of a humiliation ritual for all American Christians, and also to demonstrate his subservience.

Remember, Trump would not put his hand on the Bible when he was sworn in during his second term.

Trump meme’d a little too close to the sun and got burned. After attacking Pope Leo, Trump topped off his tirade by sharing an AI-generated photo depicting him as Jesus Christ healing the sick. It went down like a lead balloon on Truth Social, where his own supporters accused him of blasphemy and called him the anti-Christ. Backlash was so severe he deleted the post altogether. In this video we’ll talk about why Trump crossed a red line for fundamentalist evangelicals and explain how he’s not just a phony when it comes to his supposed Christian values, but worker rights as well.
