Make sure it is organic tart cherry juice. Regular cherries are on the Dirty Dozen list by the EWG.

I have been drinking it once a day for several years. I think I will try drinking it twice based on this article! Thanks ❤️🌹❤️

Do you still have sleep issues now, after drinking it once a day?

It worked like magic at the beginning about four years ago. But not quite as helpful now. Always looking for new ways to help with sleep 😴 🌹🍃🌹

It’s helping me! I take mirtazapine in the night and sometimes it can wake me up so I take it together with the tart cherry juice. Rowe Casa Organics in Texas. Also Verso Evening Being is helping sipping 1/4C during night. Improved sleep with these.

Natural food is the only thing that belongs in the bloodstream...or food supplements, which contain the entire B complex for the Brain. Solgsr B Complex Vitamins were recommended by Dr. Russell Blsylock in one of his newsletters over 20 years ago for the mind and to alleviate depression. I bought them and they really gave me a Zen feeling; centered; feet on the ground. i also avoid foods, which rob nutrients, such as, sugar in any form... it is the worst. I learned this 65 years ago. So many are hooked on it, too. Another 'good' food to avoid ...grains. The only good item, which some call a grain, is buckwheat, which I use only occasionally. There is an excellent book Dangerous Grains by James Braly, M.D. and Ron Hoggan, M.A. It states 200 diseases are created by eating grains...One of the things they cause, mental problems, such as, schizophrenia. I got arthritis from grains in 1986; got rid of it by eliminating all grains. Sayer Ji, just wrote an article last week that listed the 200 diseases from eating grains...It was in a newsletter that started out about Wheat.

Fantastic book: No Grain, No Pain, by Dr. Peter Osborne. I removed grains and pseudo-grains, nightshades, legumes, dairy, and even a few more things, and had enormous reduction in pain levels. It *was* impossible for me to maintain a healthy weight, which I am struggling to remedy. I'd heard a lot about tart cherries, but when I tried them I ran into reflux issues. I also have an intolerance to salicylates, so it's a juggling of challenges, basically. It's still great to be old. lololol ~ :)

I couldn't lose an ounce, until I stopped all cruciferous veggies. I steamed them, too. Now, my weight is 105 - 107 pounds...and in my early life It was 150 pounds in my teens..and during my marriage. In 1973, I changed my diet...and got my weight under control. However, it was still a struggle, because of the cruciferous veggies..They affect the thyroid gland and slow down the metabolism. They will eventually cause the gland to atrophy and stop functioning. Most people are also deficient in iodine. I am using iodine drops daily, too. I avoid legumes, dairy, meat ,fish, poultry, nuts, seeds, salad oils, etc. My daughter raises chickens on organic produce, etc.... I have the most expensive organic eggs in the world. I also buy some raw goat cheese..and have half an ounce at a time. I try to. keep the protein and fat down. Goat cheese is loaded with protein and fat...and I get plenty pf protein and fat from the eggs. I am healthier today, than when I was 30...and use no medication.

Are the benefits preserved by taking tart cherry extract tablets? That's what I do and when I started taking a tablet every night about 6 months ago I did notice an improvement to my sleep. Nice to have some supporting science. Arthritic benefits had also been noted by someone I met over 5 years ago. Hopefully that will be looked at in future studies 🤞.

cherry is containing high level of anti-oxydant, so I'm not surprised about it.

And get rid of toxic led bulbs. I am switching back to incandescent bulbs. Buy on Amazon.

Judy'sfavoriteDr.'s avatar

I purchased some that looked like the old incandescent GE soft white 60watt...ended up to be modified spectrum A19 [incandescent] and says 620 lumens..so be careful while shopping around. Were the Amazon ones actually the the true deal Dan?

Thanks Nicolas for the information, I will give the tart cherry juice a try. I get in bed at 9;30, but don't always fall asleep immediately...and I want to be up at 5:30 AM. Would it help me fall asleep easier?

What happens if you add sweetener to the juice?
