True. But it goes beyond effeminate homosexuality among males. I look around and see mostly physically and mentally unhealthy people around me. Mostly fat, which is just insane. Not to mention spoiled and entitled. Sure, there is a substantial minority of very solid citizens. But the percentage of my fellow citizens I'd call solid is much less than the 60s and 70s, when I became old enough to observe such things. It's not just the utter decay of the ruling class. The whole country just isn't up to the job today, and there's no reason to expect it to turn sharply around, although there are some positive signs. We're coasting on the inertia of what was built decades ago. And ballooning debt, of course. That's unsustainable.
Since the WNBA is obviously not interested in addressing the violent actions and words of its racist black players, I'd say it's time for Clark and Cunningham to start a new WBA. An organization that demands sportsmanship and high character. Something the WNBA evidently does not understand.
It would be good to see a new league formed. Those who run the WNBA from Fifth Avenue , New York City are too prejudiced and indecent to give a damn. One has to wonder about the personalities of those running the league and the stupidity and prejudice of the referees, many coaches, and club owners. What a cesspool.
So far there have been no serious injuries, but it seems like the fouls are heading in the direction of a hospitalization. At this point I think it would be easy for a lawyer to establish that the WNBA is negligent in controlling the foreseeable the violence.
What Carrington did to Cunningham's neck could have caused a dislocation /severance of her cervical spinal cord resulting in full paralysis. The referees are both ignorant (very stupid) and prejudiced.
Why does anyone watch these degrading performances? One answer might be that they cater to the reptile brain -- but that would be insulting to reptiles. I'd sure rather watch Komodo dragons than these grotesque monsters affecting to pursue a 'sport'. Just turn it off.

I played girl's basketball, starting in junior high, back in 1966. It was the 1st girl's team in the school's history. We had two excellent coaches. We were taught to first compete with our own self, to hone our abilities, then to merge that with our team. We were all good players and not out to get the other team. Just playing our best. Cutthroat competition did not exist..yet. when I see how it is, today, with money, drugs & dramas in sports, I will look forward to seeing this type of competition leave the world. It is killing the co operative spirit of life on this planet.
