As a student of nursing in the early 1960s we were trained to treat patients as individuals. Our instructors said that we should always refer to our patients by their names and not their diagnosis or room numbers. I listened with interest when you and Dr Robillard reinforced that attitude of individualized patient care. Additionally, treating patients by protocol is not individualized patient care. Every patient and his diagnosis is different and must be treated accordingly. This is where the medical establishment has gone off the rails and lost the trust of their patients. Thank you for this interesting interview.

If I got cancer I hope I have the guts to try a more Non protocol so to speak approach! Like DMSO, I ivermectin, Flo…. Approach with diet!!

Great interview! I think we need to go even deeper in understanding the mind-body connection in symptom manifestation. Dr. Sarno has witnessed many patients reverse out of symptoms once they became aware of powerful emotions that had been unconsciously repressed.

Your last discussion on protocol to define a treatment path is interesting. There needs to be more evaluation of a patient’s state “where are we on the mountain”. If you have been cured then monitoring and emotional support may be a better choice.
