Don't you think that part of the "world as it is" is the fact that for an already embattled president to overturn a presidential pardon, as specious as we all know it to be, is not an easy political calculation? I personally don't know what the chances of success would be, but it seems obvious that it's not a slam dunk, or even a high-probability gambit. Concluding from Blanche's failure to tilt at that windmill that Trump is on Facuci's side seems to me a leap in logic not well supported by evidence.
I share your wish that Trump would disavow project Warp Speed, but it's entirely in character for him to double down rather than admit that he made a colossal blunder. I'm not saying that's a salutary position, but it's not the same as him being on the side of the mRNA cabal. I seriously doubt he would have made the HHS nominations he did if that was his position, particularly Kennedy and Batacharya. My first wake-up call was when I started reading, in defense of immigration, that we need the immigrants because they'll do the jobs native-born Americans won't. My God, if we think we're too good to do our own work, that makes us disgusting. More recently, it's repeated that Americans will finally demand an end to our murderous action in Iran when they feel the pain at the pump.
