Hmm… more pharmaceuticals? With a pharmacy, I would caution against ANY form of GLPs. The side effects are horrendous.

I would rather recommend the DASH diet. Just as effective as GLPs and less harmful or expensive.

From my article, we read:

“Even so, the physiologic actions of antiobesity drugs and surgery may have similarities to diet, among which a low–glycemic load diet (reduced in carbohydrate or glycemicindex) shows promise.”

Here’s the article if anyone is interested: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/the-hidden-struggle-in-health-care

We don’t need more pharmaceuticals— we need to return to our natural state. And wherever you are on your weight loss journey, it all starts with what you put in your body.

They dance around the fact that 2/3 of the weight loss is because of muscle depletion! That’s how peristalsis is slowed, but it’s not confined to the muscles that control the cilia and impact the heart and all other muscle masses, including the muscles to control eye movement. Based on the side effects that they do report, you have to be nuts to believe that this is the best way to lose weight.

Exactly!!! People on any form of these GLPs look as if they’re wasting away.

And let’s be honest — all it really does is STOP YOU FROM EATING. That’s it.

Yes, there are some success stories, but it’s really playing a dangerous game when fasting is just as effective

I recently documented my fasting journey with WATER here as well: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/why-i-dont-drink-water

I’m hoping between this one and the statins, he just needs to be informed and educated.

If he chooses not to look into the new information, he acts as a “Gatekeepers” — one who tells us 80% good stuff, but then 20% bad stuff: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/the-complex-roles-and-benefits-of

EUA and Pace which are in effect until the end of 2029 allow drug manufacturers, including Lily Pfizer and the wellness company to sell patients directly and bypass, the community pharmacist and the community physician who should be monitoring their health. It’s the new big Pharma money game for profit.

He is a medical doctor; he has used pharmaceuticals his entire profession. That mindset does not change easily.

No discussion on all the extremely nasty side effects of GLP-1 agonists? Disappointing.

I have my doubts here, but the lead doctor for the holistic health clinic I go to recently wrote an article saying that the problem with the GLP-1 drugs is the dose. That it can be safe at low doses. So perhaps there is some merit to this product. At least for people who are obese.

Another article written with the assistance of AI. I know that Dr. McCullough is busy globetrotting and giving interviews, but he seems to be relying too much on AI lately. What happened to his photographic memory? He used to be able to give full citation of articles off the cuff in an amazing way. I know that research has exploded on the subjects he shares with us, but I wonder if Dr. McCullough has taken the wrong turn in the fork in the road.

At 13, I started the Battle of the Bulge...and went through many years during my teens and most of my married life weighing 150 pounds. Today, i fluctuate between 108 and 110 pounds and i am not skinny.at 5' 3". It just took many years to learn how to eat right, because there is so much misinformation available. I eat quite a bit...over 4 pounds of food daily, but most of it is raw fruit and vegetables. I am never hungry and have no cravings for sweets. I do use Stevia in my One mug of coffee daily and in my herb teas. I have not used sugar, since 1961. I gave up honey in 1988, when i got a tumor from using honey in drinking many cups of herb tea daily. It triggered off a bulbous ugly growth on my chest with spikes coming out of it. I stopped the honey in the herb tea and several months later there was nothing, but a little pink spot. I found , if you get enough fluid in your daily drinks and enough raw food, which contains 75% - 94% water...you don't get hungry.

I do not have a weight problem. But I have to admit my last resort is a pharmaceutical. Diet is a regime of eating - we have modulated it to mean weight loss eating. Everyone needs to learn how to eat well - the kinds of foods one eats, how much, when, and how. Another option, if I may recommend a competitor, is PhD weight loss. They each you how to use your own metabolism, while eating better foods, to lose the weight. Sebastian Gorka, Mike Gallagher and now Chris Stigall of the Salem News Channel have all had great success with this program. https://myphdweightloss.com/
