Great article, but "...Stalin and Churchill agreed to leave Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe more or less under Russian control..." needs correction. The arrogant, feckless Roosevelt sidelined Churchill and took the lead in tossing Poland to Stalin. One 1945 Yalta account of the Polish discussions: ...Roosevelt and (sometimes) Churchill couched their main plea to Stalin in terms of petty politicians asking favors. At that level Stalin inevitably bested them.
“There are six or seven million Poles in the U.S.,” began Roosevelt. “. . . It would make it easier for me at home if the Soviet government would give something to Poland.” Stalin could not have cared less how Roosevelt’s popularity rating fared in Buffalo’s Sixth Ward...". Another factor was the presence of at least two Soviet agents in Roosevelt's inner circle - Alger Hiss and Harry Hopkins.
I meant to write Roosevelt, was a bit tired when I wrote the essay.
Ron Unz, in his current articles on Joseph McCarthy, writes that Hiss and Hopkins were far from alone as Soviet agents inside the Roosevelt Administration. Interesting that Democrats (and Americans in general) never get tired of smearing their opponents as Hitlers while completely ignoring the mammoth crimes of their good friend Uncle Joe Stalin.

During my youth, I avidly delved into the study of history, finding it utterly captivating, and in the process, I had the privilege of meeting numerous esteemed historians, with whom I forged lifelong connections. However, 25 years ago, I witnessed firsthand how historians became the initial targets of cancel culture, as their lectures, which aimed to shed light on truth, were unjustly deemed as taboo, veering into the realm of so-called "hate speech."
Sadly, a significant portion of the younger generation will never truly grasp the authentic chronicles of our past. Instead, they are subjected to a distorted rendition that breeds self-derision, robbing them of the profound richness inherent in our historical legacy and depriving them of the capacity to embrace a genuine sense of pride in their ancestors.
I recall as a teenager schooled in small town Illinois hating the US history course I was forced to take-- teacher was a moron, course a rehash of history already taken and learned in Catholic grade school-- while at the same time, begrudging the fact that none of the history covered the most famous recent world war my father fought in. . .
Only was it many years later that I had gathered enough interest to TRULY understand the gravity of history in pre-WWII Germany and Russia and appreciate my charmed life in the good ole USA.

The Russians killed 100000000 Christians and muslims 60 million before the war with Germany. Yet Noone ever hears of the holodomor. Wonder why? To keep speaking years old propoganda as fact. Well said yes my grammar is terrible I'm not a texter. My phone misspells everything I try to put in and I was likely working which is 6 days a week 14 to 16 hrs installing internet. If I have time I will go back and fix it. I should hire a proofreader but who has enough to get by these days. This lie we have lived under destroyed western culture once America betrayed it's fellow Christians and fell for the lies. Another bad decision among Churchill, Stalin and FDR was to repatriate millions of Cossacks back to the Soviet Union, a country most of them either fled very early in the post Revolutionary period (before it became the Soviet Union) or never lived in at all. Millions of them were put to death upon their arrival in the Soviet Union. What a horrible stain on Churchill and FDR.
