Fauci was given a pre-emptive pardon for everything he did from 2014 until the date of the pardon. Aside from the idea that this does presume ‘guilt’ for actions during this time period (as we know that there were), there are consequences for accepting the pardon, in that, in any hearing, Fauci can no longer take the 5th when answering questions. He loses that protection with a pardon.
I forget, was the pardon for anything that he might have done and anything that he might do in the future, such as perjury, or was it, indeed, only for his crimes up until the date of the pardon?
The pardon is for any actions that might be considered a crime, from 2014 through to the date of the pardon. It’s only for issues up until the date of the pardon.
Everything will become clear to you when you study carefully from the many videos, debates, discussions etc. Read the critical and important information and the comments/news…..

The blog comment here says nothing about requiring a criminal charge before a pardon can be offered.
Which is the entire point of interest, that has been publicly addressed at length for over a week now...
