Totally agree. I would add that we need not only constitutional restraints, fiscal transparency, decentralization, and independent scrutiny, but also very focused and determined action to REDUCE the size, scope and authority of government.

A constitution with TEETH (i.e., punish the violators) is also direly needed, though difficult to implement.

Until the dangerously comfortable people of the West recognize that it’s game over unless they stand up and force a course correction, power centralization will accelerate, and the vise will continue to tighten on us all. The counterpoint to centralized, suppressive power, is decentralized, grassroots action in defense of Life and Liberty. We see this clearly with MAHA now for example.

We are all stewards of the freedom we inherited. It’s our duty to pass it forward.

Great work, John!

✓GAO estimate of fraud: $233 billion to $521 billion per year. 3%-7% of average federal obligations.

✓Improper Payments: The federal government reported at least $186 billion in improper payments in 2025 across 64 programs (with about 82% stemming from overpayments), contributing to a cumulative total of roughly $3 trillion since 2003.

✓ Administrative and Mismanagement Costs: estimate specific administrative or management-related inefficiencies in federal operations in the HUNDREDS of billions.

So the question is: how much of the federal deficit is because of corruption and stupidity? Perhaps one-half?

Think about that: we are paying interest on corruption, retarded policies, inefficiency, and waste.

And yet, if one revolts against paying the demanded taxes, what happens? Fines, jail, and a ruined life.

You have exactly described the situation we have here in Canada. Our Liberal government is completely out of control with spending and authoritative laws that increase their power and restrict the rights and freedoms of the citizens. We are in a big mess up here.

Fact Check: TRUE

Democide and Power. Centralized government becomes authoritarian and totalitarian. Inescapable trajectory. It can be no other way. For government to become centralized it must eliminate other independent power holders that may contradict, oppose the centralized government "experts." And they end up killing. A lot. Always.

Chart:

Death by Government RJ Rummel, 1994

Central-planned governance relies on "experts." Whose arrogance leads to the massive deaths shown in those charts. Experts who confidently - and wrongly - telling other people what to do. We saw that during Scamdemic. See that with the Climate Cult. Central government power insinuates itself across health, food, all-of-society governance, which is the 'total' part of 'totalitarian.'

Like famine, people killing people, being killed just trying to eat after the "expert's" solution to low crop yields made entire crops disappear. "Get rid of the sparrows eating the crops!" "Experts" are notorious for being oblivious to 'unintended consequences.' Again, the focus on a "virus" that ignored all of the consequences that monofocus created. They *always* have 'good intentions.' What the road to hell is paved with:

Apply this across all-of-society. And not just in China. Not just in Communist/Socialist/Fascist governing systems. Monarchies, Technocracies, Oligarchies, Bureaucracies. Any governing model with centralized command and control power. Inevitable. They find the sparrows they think are the cause of their ills, and end up creating much worse ills.

Fact Checked absolutely true!

Thomas Sowell also talks about this subject. Amazing author on economics and social issues. The government also partners with intelligencia so that only approved direction is funded. Good luck getting a grant disproving human effects of “climate change”!

Excellent explanation. This is why ancient Israel had three powers: (1) a king (2) a priest (3) a prophet.

Just finished America’s Great Depression by Murray Rothbard. It just covers up to 1933, They did all sorts of things, often with the cooperation of business, to try to end and mitigate the effects of the depression. Basically everything they did made it worse. It isn’t just the bad intent that is the problem. Anything government does that should be done by the market, is a mistake. Most of what they do, shouldn’t be done at all.

Centralization is always harmful and dangerous to the larger population. The ultimate example of this is globalization and one world government ruled by technocracy. This is the dystopia that we are living in and which becomes more totalitarian by the day as the digital control grid is cemented into place; i.e., the enslavement of humanity.

Purely anecdotal observation, but recently, I've noticed UK actors in US productions and vice-versa. I think this is another way to soften people up for "wonderful globalism"!
