In short, we did not do a good job of providing public health for our population by mass mandated vaccinations. We've muddied the waters, weakened inherent individual immune systems, and created chaos and confusion among the people. There was a time in the not too distant past, when Medical students in Medical Pharmacology classes, were taught "Do not throw drugs at symptoms. Identify the primary lesions (cause) and treat that". Beginning in the 70's and 80's and since, big drug companies (Pharma) captured the AMA, the Medical schools, the health institutions and hospitals and insurance companies and governmental agencies to effectively change the teachings of Med students which now is: "Prescribe drugs for symptoms; there is a drug for every ailment". Very wrong headed. To be clear, this is a fool's paradise. Drugs (literally all of them) are well known to be effective agents short term, and over time become less and less effective. Resistance builds up. the body adapts. To continue thinking that health can be achieved through drugs and only drugs, given what the actual science and research shows, is irresponsible and reckless and in the hands of governments and corporations, criminal.
