The skin is a first-line bodily defense. Most who get caught up in the tattoo fad aren't thinking about what it may mean to their health in years to come. It is a glaringly obvious "mark" of the knowledge deficit our country is suffering.
I'm curious about this as well. (Disclaimer: I H.A.T.E. tattoos.) Also up for consideration for those who are fighting against unnatural influences in food and the environment ... how 'bout that hair dye? Especially the dyes that require stripping natural color first? And how 'bout those piercings? Especially the ones in the nose and lips/mouth?
