Having a medical degree does not, necessarily, make one qualified to oversee public health as the COVID debacle revealed. I do agree that having someone who has actual experience in patient care is most desirable. Has Dr. Malone ever actually taken care of patients? He has expertise in researching and developing platforms for vaccine manufacture, but what is his direct patient care experience?
